Okay about to make my first order using Bhiner and I have absolutely no idea what shipping service to use. My order is about $100, and it's just a bunch of socks, laces, and accessories, so hopefully not very heavy.

What option is good and cheap? I don't mind waiting a bit for it to arrive if I can save money!

It would help to know where you live. Dunno about Bhiner's options, but if you don't mind waiting a long long time, pick SEA. If you don't mind waiting for a shorter but still long time, pick SAL. If you want things to come to you within a couple of weeks, pick EMS. If you want things right away and want to be fucked up the ass with fees, pick DHL.

Since you're order is light, I think you should go with Airmail or something. It's like a reasonable in between between price and time.

Bhiner Express is a bit of an odd one, for me it always came EMS (I've temporarily stopped using Bhiner due to recent issues, hence past tense) but I think they will basically send by whatever the cheapest option to you is.

HKP SP is only for small packages.
HKP and EMS are roughly the same level of service, just HKP is less problematic about liquids and stuff.
Don't know about USPS.
China Post is slower
Don't know about Aramex

See previous taobao threads for Bhiner problems, they had major server issues just before and extending well after CNY, lost all previous order data, and a lot of current order data.

They also took over a week to dispatch my last order and tried to charge me for Airmail instead of EMS until I pulled them up on it.

To be fair, my order did arrive and was all there, but sure took their time.

So I'm not using them for my March-April import - that said, I'm trying SpreeNow which is also very hairy in that their website is very flakey.

They fit me fine and are super soft. I have 47cm on my thighs, where the socks reach, and 37cm on my calfs, widest part.
I also own some sheer printed stockings from them and they do get a bit deformed... This did not happen with this OTK. Maybe because of the material?

Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but I just made my first order on taobaoring and was wondering something... a couple of the items i requested, they labelled as "no" in the "available" column with no comments, so I just deleted the items from my order. But do they do this when specifically the colour option i chose was not in stock, or only if ALL options are out of stock? I had thought they would comment something like "colour you wanted out of stock, do you want to pick another one" if there were still other options, but thinking about it now I don't actually know if they would...?

EMS is quicker theoretically, but if you're in the EU (I don't know about elsewhere) Customs often hold up EMS packages because they regularly check them whereas they don't really with airmail. Yeah. Some people buy with their friends if they only want a few items each. By rare, I mostly mean lolita and cosplay items, which are greatly more expensive in foreign (our) markets. If you want black socks, just get them here. If you want a full lolita coord under $200, easier to get it from Taobao.

Taobao has more variety than Aliexpress, in my opinion. Some taobao shops have Aliexpress shops. Some don't, but still ship internationally. Some only have taobao shops and will only ship domestically because, surprise surprise, shipping internationally is a big hassle.

I'm not sure about their other tights, but I was definitely disappointing with their bunny ones. You could see the line/change in texture between the white of the stocking, and the white of the print. The bunny isn't printed onto the tight, it's the entire picture inc. the white background around the rabbit. It's hard to explain...but a well done print would cut off the white around the actual print, and then put it onto the tight, so you have more fabric and less print ink/material on the fabric.

The pink line goes all the way across in the picture, but on my tights it only had a medium size line on one leg. I have bought this dress in burgundy March 2nd. It still hasn't arrived yo my SS yet. I have never ordered from Surface Spell before. Is this normal?

Spreenow have been VERY slow for me so far, 1st order with them (a couple hundred bucks). Was in queued for packing status for about a week, so I asked them about it, now it's moved to "queued for weighing", has been for a day now. How long does it take to stick a box on a set of scales. No photos taken either :-/

I guess they are a bit hit and miss.

also, i don't think spreenow takes photos unless specifically asked (i've never asked) or if they think your item may be wrong/different with what you ordered (has happened once)
