I actually love parfaitdoll, well, I used to anyway. Recently I've felt she's changed a lot over the last few years.

Honestly I sort of feel her on the online bullying, but she sounds like a bit of a hypocrite. I don't understand why she'd say she doesn't edit her photos when it's so obvious, that just seems really dumb.
I can see if she is a part of the NYC comm why she'd refer to herself as that.

It's disappointing to hear some of this stuff, at one point in time she was a huge help for me and she's even who introduced me to Lolita and got me into it. I know people aren't perfect but it still kinda sucks to hear that someone you used to like did shitty things.

It's a bit of a cute idea, but I know for me it wouldn't feel right. Her Flickrs are mostly still intact it seems, of that helps anything.
I've actually thought about taking her favorite posts she made and turning them into a kind of scrapbook, but that sounds like something a crazy stalker person would do so I've never done it.

I really wish she would have left her old blogs intact. They were so special to me, and so many of the things she wrote sounded like they came directly from my own mind and heart. I think people just don't want to take that much time to read musings anymore. Skye posted all this in a time where there wasn't a lot in the way of lolita content in general, so every little thing that was even remotely related got read. Just because there were some people who believed lolitas were all special kawaii princesses who ~saw the flowers in the cracks of the sidewalk~ doesn't mean that it was even close to being "how things were then."

Look at some of the comments on the very post, pointing out that she's being over the top and that not everyone feels the same way as she does. And this is just what's left after she deleted comments. I'm not sure if the EGL post she made back then is still up, but it got similar responses. Essentially: you're being a tad over dramatic, not everyone who likes lolita thinks they are princesses, it's clothing. Hell, how can you say "that's just how things were back then" when in her very post she points out that there are people who don't think that way?

In the early days, yes, there was more of a sense of community because we found strength in numbers, but that doesn't mean everyone had this princess mentality per say.
