I've started writing the wardrobe and loliable patterns posts, but neither are very good. They will be lacking the "lifestyle" romantic writing feeling that I hoped for as they are instructional - I fear that this is the way my entire blog will go.

I'm aiming to update the blog bi-weekly.

Just got home from work (I didn't post this). I don't post any lolita related content on that blog, so clearly it's someone trying to stir shit up. The subtle "my tumblr" in >>8556165 was a nice effort tho.

I actually do have a lolita blogger but I don't write about anything interesting. I really really like dressesanddivilment.wordpress.com (I think she's a seagull too??). She writes about genuinely interesting lolita topics and I love what she has to say.

Is Blogspot or Wordpress better for J-fashion blogging? Most of the fashion blogs I've seen have been hosted on Blogspot, but there are a couple of Wordpress ones in here and that's the format I'm more familiar with. Just kind of curious about the pros and cons of each.

I find that wordpress is much less beginner friendly, and a lot of features are restricted to paid memberships, but it looks pretty good. I switched from blogger because of an account issue that I couldn't really figure out, and wordpress was pretty tough to get used to at first. Themes and stuff are much less customisable (unless I'm just blind).

The group was started out of one of those lifestyle threads we've had on here recently. I think they used oldschool in the title as a way to describe the subculture/lifestyle vibe the fashion used to have, not necessarily the substyle.
