I've ordered the first two and am hoping their measurements are accurate(length wise), and am putting off buying the others so I don't get ali-regret if they all turn out crap. I really want to dress like a victorian children's book character this summer though.

Sadly I wouldn't really recommend the shell bra. I was excited to receive it, but its not as nice as the picture. (sorry but my phone is R.I.P so I can't take a photo for you). Instead of having a clasp at the back it's a tie, and in the photo the straps look (to me) as if they are like bra straps, but they are a halterneck tie. There is barely any curve to the shell cups so unless you are quite flat it probably won't fit well (I am a uk 32C and it barely covers me, I definitely wouldn't trust it to swim in!). Overall I guess it's just not as good quality as it looks in the photo. this is the one I got:

The black top I really like! It's a bit shorter than it looks in some of the photos, and it fits me snugly but not too tight (I'm uk dress size 8). Its pretty soft and nice, I've had other things that are uncomfortable stiff material and dont lose that 'cheap' smell, but this isnt like that. However, it came with some of the side seams a bit fraying/undone. I only messaged them about that just now and haven't had a response, so I can't vouch for what will happen with that. It's this one:

Here you go! They're pretty nice, a few bits of excess rubber at the sides where they were cut, but they came off easily, and the lines of the details are all pretty clean. The yellow of his tummy is slightly grey at the sides where it is a bit mixed with his fur. The scribble in the background is what the pen writes like, I like it. Its not scratchy like some cheap pens are.

Had my first aliexpress order.

Ordered 3 items, was told one was out of stock in the colour I ordered, I was told to open a dispute to get a refund for it once the package arrives.

Package arrives, I get 1 of the three items I ordered, 1 that was the same item that was out of stock but in a different colour, and 1 wasn't included at all. I open a dispute including photos of what I received asking for a refund on the item I didn't receive at all and that I would accept receiving the wrong colour of the item they had out of stock, but I definitely want a refund on the item I didn't receive. Seller rejects my dispute and tells me the value of the item that was out of stock.

That's not what I requested the refund on????

I just got it, and it seems pretty nice. It's like the pictures, has a lot of space and compartments to put stuff, even a thermal pocket to put a drink or a bottle of water.

The material is as you would expect, fake leather. I have no problems with it right now, but I have a feeling it will rip with use...

Some things to keep in mind when buying from Aliexpress:
It is not all one seller. It is like eBay or taobao where there are several different sellers with different feedback scores
Almost anything you buy on there will not be authentic. There are lots of replicas
Buying makeup, chemical products, sex toys, lighters, or electronics is strongly advised against as there is no regulations in place for those. (False eyelashes are ok as they dont resllt touch your skin) Be smart about what you purchase.
The quality is not likely to be great on these things. You get what you pay for.
I have had luck buying unprocessed human hair. Be wary of buying very long hair though, as the longer it is, the more brittle the ends are
This is a good place to buy clothes that would normally only be available on taobao and it's usually cheaper than paying ridiculous storenvy markups. However if you plan to buy a lot, it may just be cheaper to buy directly from taobao rather than going through resellers on Aliexpress. So if you really only want a few items are are willing to pay the markup in exchange for free shipping, this is a good place to buy
Be wary of jewelry. It possibly could have lead in it and likely has nickel. The finish will probably rub off quickly so coating it in a jewelry protecting spray is recommended
Glass items may break during shipping, but are generally safe to buy as lead glass is heavy and expensive to make and the chances of you getting it are extremely low
Basically, use your common sense

I havent received it yet, but i think you just use it like normal polish and it reacts to your body heat (so like the bit actually against the nail bed/flesh of your finger which is warmer will be different to the tip thats not getting the body heat). Idk if my nails are long enough to get the effect properly, or if it even works though!

Everyone who was interested in the nail polish:
It arrived today in a bubblewrap pocket envelope thing and a small layer of bubblewrap around the bottle, but it was broken. It's done the thing where the glass neck snaps off inside the plastic top thing. If you order something like this be careful when you take it out of the packaging, I got some on my clothes (but luckily just some old pyjamas).

I thought id try it out before throwing it away. Presumably because it is open due to the neck snapping off, its a bit gummy so doesnt paint very easily. I painted my nails yesterday so decided to put it on a false nail instead (the nail has like a lace pattern on it, so thats what you can see through the polish). It seems to take a very long time to dry, its been about 15 mins and its still wet to the extent that if i touch it a bit will go on my finger. However, the colour change does work! The dark purple is what it is like cold, and the pink is when i was running it under warm water.

So basically: bottle broke in post, a bit gummy (probably because of the break), and takes a long time to dry. The colour change does work, however. In the interests of fairness, it might be better if it comes sealed.

I feel like we talk about this every other thread at least, but I think it's a bit harder on AE because there are quite a few sellers that sell a little of everything, as opposed to having shops that cater to particular fashion substyles and whatnot. the only stores I can think of off the top of my head that stick to a particular style/item would be home goods, socks, mori, and the lolita shops.

The problem is that on taobao, if you order like one thing from a store and its good, the rest is probably gonna be good too, while on aliexpress you dont really know that since most of the stuff they sell come from taobao, but from different stores. So one aliexpress store can sell like 10 good dresses from one good taobao store, and then the rest can be complete shit
So just because you've ordered some good things from a store still doesn't mean everything is good.
Also, there are sooooo many stores on Aliexpress, and most of them sell decent quality stuff. I've ordered from probably over 60 stores over the years and all the items I got were good. You can't possibly list all of those store just because of that
Lastly, I don't really see why a spreadsheet is needed for Aliexpress since it so easy to navigate compared to taobao. If you're scared to get bad items, just check for good feedback, or order from some other site.

The batcat shirt arrived. Its really nice, would definitely recommend it! I got a M which fits me (UK 8-10) nicely. I like the length of the sleeves (they dont show the armpits, i hate when short sleeved tops show armpits), the material is nice and soft and not see through. Didnt smell factoryish when it came. The picture is printed on, ive not put it through he wash yet but it doesnt look like it would peel off.

Not correct at all. The first letter is hiragana (bo) the second two are katakana (e-ka) and the last one is 姐, which is older sister but I don't see that kanji used a whole lot?

In the end, it's actually complete gibberish. There isn't really a direct "fuck off!" in Japanese as far as I know (but I'm not an expert or anything). うぜんだよ (uzendayo) is probably the closest?

Um, those second two are in the katakana alphabet, but they're also kanji.
工 (meaning craft/construction). For example, it is in the word for engineer - 工学者 (こうがくしゃ) When I look it up on jisho.org, it says katakana "e" radical, but it looks like a full-width character whereas "e" looks like it's half-width, meaning they could be two separate characters. idk
However, 力 is chikara- power. Even the weebiest of weebs should know this..

The shirt is nonsensical as far as I can tell, just wanted to point it out in case you weren't aware.

They aren't also kanji. Katakana are katakana and kanji are kanji. Katakana are basically just radicals extracted from kanji, but even though they have the same form, they have distinct meanings, usually distinguishable by their use. Look at 工 and エ for example. Or 力 and カ. There are clear differences in their rendition. It has very much sense.

Try things like Japanese, kawaii, harajuku, mori, bobon, lizlisa, lolita (even if you're not looking for lolita, some stores write lolita in the description) etc.
If you find a cute dress, try looking in that store because stores usually sell pretty similar clothes
Honestly though, you can't just ask for "cute dresses", because cute can be so many different styles, and there's thousands of "cute" dresses on aliexpress.

Alright, it just arrived.
Overall I'm pleased. The material isn't see-through but it's definitely stretchy and easily accommodates a 95cm bust. The Milky print is above the bottom of the shirt, but I tuck my tees in so that doesn't lower my opinion. I will say that the sleeves are awkwardly long and the armpit fit is a bit off, but it's still better than what I expected honestly. The printing is clean and not faded. On a hanger it looks a bit shiny, but it isn't that noticeable.

I used to have such good nails, but some shitty medication I'm taking makes them more brittle. I'm supposed to take some other vitamins and use a special coating to make them better, but it'll be a while before they shape up. I definitely need these in the mean time.

It's decent. Feels very sturdy, a little hard to open and close at first. The bit in the chain is kinda flimsy and the connecting ends broke apartbut I just hotglued it back together and its fine now. As for smells, I didn't smell anything but my nose doesn't work very good anyway. Overall I'd say its the same quality you'd get at target or any other store.

I would put a list of things to NOT buy from AE in the spreadsheet.
Electronics, sex toys, cosmetics, lighters, chemical products, and to be very, very, wary of jewelry, especially anything piercing, as there is a chance it will contain lead.
And to remind people that this isn't the same as buying those products from normie stores because there are no regulations and usually very little quality on them here.
And then things generally safe to buy from AE but to remember that you usually get what you pay for such as pretty much anything made out of cloth, shorter (<12) human hair (i've bought this from AE several times with good luck), false eyelashes, glass (since lead glass is heavy and expensive its usually safe to buy glass stuff but be wary of it breaking), home decor, basically anything that won't go into your body or has electronic parts.
There's also some taobao shops that have AE storefronts (ex: infanta) we could put in the spreadsheet, and some like house of novelty with good reputations that carry cute stuff

Tends to be correct...but some shoes will run big/small depending on style and a lot of them are really quite narrow, so go a size/ size and a half up, depending on how wide your feet are. 25cm+ shoes are hard to find and wide shoes in that range are pretty much impossible to come across, but afaik smaller shoes are true to size.

First time Aliexpress user here. On the whole, are listed garment measurements to be trusted? I know it'll vary by seller, but generally speaking. And are sellers usually pretty good about their return policies?

More specifically, anybody know of shops (or particular items, if you're feeling generous) good for a mori girl with tits? I found a few things here and there, but it seems like most items have bust measurements around 100-105cm. Anything 120-130cm would be ideal for me, but I can probably go down to 115cm.
