All Moitie dresses have the bust listed as 82, but it doesn't mean anything because it's written on literally every item. Some Moitie dresses can be really big. But yes, that cut is actually good for 82cm busts, although it can go up to 88cm sometimes. The incorrect measurements are probably one of the reasons why Moitie stuff doesn't sell very quickly. I wouldn't wear lolita to my wedding, at least not to church. My bf wants me to wear a traditional wedding dress, it has to be floor length with a trail and such. Since I'm pretty tall, no lolita dress would meet those requirements.

I'd wear a lolita dress to civil marriage though, but not styled in a lolita way. Probably something a la Juliette et Justine, that could pass as non lolita fancy wear. I already have a dress in mind (pic related) for this occassion and reserved it just in case, since I suspect that my bf is proposing to me soon kek.

Wow such ridiculous assumptions. Stay classy cgl.

But just to make it clear: My bf is a sweetheart, supporting and encouraging me in every way, and he is not telling me what to do with my life or suppressing my desires or whatsoever, okay?

I'm totally fine with a traditional wedding dress, we both came to the consensus that that this aesthetic would be best fitting for a church wedding. And btw, a relationship is also about being able to make compromises. We both make the decisions, it's not only about my own happiness, I'm not a selfish cunt who only thinks about her own well being.

>traditional wedding dress

Congrats/good luck on your upcoming/possible proposal, but please do wear what will make you both happy, and is actually required by whatever deity you believe in. Don't buy in too much to the less-than-200-yr-old idea that white = virginity, you must have a train, and that you must even wear a dress in the first place. Fashion trends started by the queen of england \= actual important marriage traditions, even if great auntie thinks so.

It is a little bizarre that he has a preference that he's weighed in with for what you wear on your wedding day, though. Most dudes leave that completely up to their wife-to-be.

FWIW you provided minimal context about your situation and it is not unreasonable that people could read it as you caving to your fiancé's demands. It's also a bit OT and blog post-like since the thread is not for talking about how this is a thing you wouldn't do. Not your blog, etc.

>we both came to the consensus that that this aesthetic would be best fitting for a church

That makes way more sense, choosing that aesthetic together because you feel it's the most fitting for the kind of wedding you both want. It originally sounded more like you or he wanted to choose the tradition dress style (which it isn't anyway) because you or he felt you ought to.

It's normal that people have preferences, and i'm encouraging my bf to express his opinions. Maybe that's where the differences lies.

>It's also a bit OT and blog post-like since the thread is not for talking about how this is a thing you wouldn't do. Not your blog, etc.
OP asked about what we would wear to a lolita wedding, and I simply explained why I would not wear lolita to church but to civil marriage and how come I already have a specific dress in mind which also happens to be a lolita dress.
The thread started to become OT once the other seagulls responded with stupid assumptions about my relationship.
