Alright, it may be a bit long, and is also still in progress! I'll try for as many concrete details as possible too. And let me just preface this by saying, I've met a lot of cringy asians pretending to be japanese, or wanting to be japanese but this one is by far the cringiest. Anyway lets get this started!

This is what pisses me off with wannabe idols too, honestly. Particularly the ones they refuse criticism to their singing or dancing, despite having never had lessons in either.

I'm doing my bachelor's in music this year, and the course is being held in a college because the university doesn't have any room for it. This means I got to meet a lot of weebs joining the Level 2 BTEC because they wanted to be idols and the course is only a year long. 6 joined in September, only 2 are still there now, and they've decided to learn guitar and bass and start a pop-punk band instead.

Honestly, I've never seen someone from out of Japan that I actually believed could profit from 'being an idol' before, but Level 3 girl has put in 10 times the work than most people put into actual bands.
