>ITT: Lolita Chasers and Male Fans of Lolita

Why are almost 90% of all male fans fucking skirt chasers? I thought I met this really cool guy at a local Con and not even 10 minutes into the conversation he asks me if im into Daddy roleplay. Its LITERALLY every time I meet a guy who says they're "real big fans of Lolita Fashion". How do you even weed out the liars?

Ask them about brands or their favorite style, print, or dress and why they like it. But honestly they'll probably tell you really soon in the conversation. I don't care if they keep it to themselves, but they pretty much never do. Say you like it or think it's pretty or cute or whatever but please don't tell me it makes you hard and that I "have the perfect body for a little girl rp" or ask me about ddlg.

I think they keypoint is to see the difference between admiring the fashion and being attracted to it. They can't just "like" it, they have to understand what elements they like or don't like, and not just how it's eyecatching and "looks cute".

Theres a reason behind that. The longer you talk to them (if they are a coord cutter, anyway) the more it seems like you are interested in them. If they ask for your opinions are you are met with mmhms and yeahs, they are just gauging on how much of them you can tolerate, and in their minds are thinking they are building a report with you. because straight men see the world as their sexual playground and 90% of their reasons for interacting with women at all are sexual reasons, to the point where anything remotely feminine is a potential target for sexual gratification. women = sex.

stick with queer guys, asexuals, etc. they are more likely to appreciate the fashion for what it is, because they aren't part of the women=sex mindset.

what is your theory for why most straight male fans of lolita are sexually interested in the women who wear the fashion? it is pretty straightforward. a straight man into model trains is going to jizz his pants over a woman who is skilled at and excited for the same hobby. when the hobby is inherently feminine it amplifies the sexual connection with the hobby itself and the women within it.

All of the guys I've gotten that won't shut up about sex already knew about lolita, talked about it almost exclusively, and specifically said they were "fans of the style". adding to this, my straight male fan who likes lolita and doesn't treat it as part of his sexual fantasy playground also likes feminine and cute things in general, wears makeup, likes male and female fashion, and has crossdressed. he is mistaken for gay because he likes feminine things but isn't always rubbing his dick all over them.

for most guys, interaction with feminine things is inherently sexual. either you want to fuck it, or want to be it (and be fucked), or both. the rare men who enjoy frills and cuteness in a nonsexual way confuse the fuck out of everyone.

I honestly don't know. I guess maybe they saw pink + poofy and thought it must be a little girl thing? Lolita and j-fash in general gets seen as a costume by normies all the time. And men who watch tons of porn (aka 99% of tumblr "daddies") think literally everything women do is for men. So they probably think it's like a sex costume or something. I do know a lot of lolitas get their posts reblogged by "daddies" that add captions to them and once a few of them see it the rest probably joined in.

What I don't understand is that lolita looks absolutely nothing like ageplay/little clothing. This is what the average ageplayer wants and dresses in if they're one of the rare skinny ones. They want actual children's clothes that are practical to play in both non-sexually and sexually. They're also very anal about age appropriate things. Littles are a bit different because they aren't playing a certain role so they could like it and think it fits the "princess role". But like >>9029216 said they were probably browsing through the lolita tag and saw it. Tons of weebs and tumblrinas have gotten into ddlg and ageplaying now that it's cool on tumblr so that probably has a lot to do with it too.

Also for all the complaints of ageplayers mixing ageplay with sweet literally every lolita I saw mixing it was extremely ita and usually into gothic or oldschool. Like classic milanoo ita. They were also usually weebs who saw it as a form of cosplay. Annoyingly enough there was one ita who linked hello lace and some other sites so that probably brought some creeps in.

the existence of lesbian molestors does not change the fact that straight men are used to having their sexual fantasies catered to by multiple industries invested in soliciting their cash, which in turn impacts how they (straight men) relate to women. remember, the topic is specifically straight men who are fans of lolita and why OP feels most of them also direct their sexual desires towards women in the fashion.

i just had a thought, also:

men who like lolita for nonsexual reasons are very likely in the closet about it and insecure because of the high probability of being shamed for it. the anxiety/insecurity means we magnify signs of rejection when we venture into the world of lolita, and we have more incentive to put it off (i waited years). women in lolita are more likely to encounter men who feel at ease sexualizing lolita because those men have incentive to seek out lolitas in the real world.

when you fear rejection, and don't have the fantasy of sexual gratification to guide you, you are probably more likely to stay in the shadows and over-interpret or take too closely to heart what female lolitas say and do, both to you and about men in general. for me, the issue was also a way to procrastinate gitting gud because i could always say "no one will accept me even if i try."

If you'd read you'd see I said men who *aren't* into fashion *at all* and say so but also say they love lolita. I've never had a problem with any of the boystylers or brolitas but those are people participating in the fashion. They aren't fans they're just as much a part of the community as lolitas.

Bi guy here.
I've always been a fan of the style. I just think it's elegant and cute. I didn't realize it was a 'chaser' thing but most of the girls I've dated have been weeby lolita fans and I've often helped them when it came to setting up coords and whatnot. I had guys come up to me saying that they like my coord and that I look cute/nice which is nice. I feel like most lolitas who complain about most men being creeps are ones who don't know how to interact with other well and use body language as another form of communication along with speech. It is also the same vise versa for a guy who likes the fashion but feels awkward talking about it with someone they just met.

Like yes there will always be that one creep who does want to get frilly with you in the sheets but the ones who like the fashion will like the fashion and idk why most lolitas get their panties in a bunch when it comes to sex and lolita. It's just sex and clothing in the end and nothing more after that imo.

yes, and that ANYTHING feminine is sexual, which is why us guys into lolita get so much shit. women assume we are into it for sexual reasons because of statistics based on their experiences, men assume we must be gay because they can't comprehend enjoying anything feminine in a non-sexual way.

i had to break off a friendship because when the dude found out about my interest in androgyny he saw it as an open invitation to solicit sexual favors from me. i said it before, but for most straight men, the world is their sexual playground. for geeks who spend most of their time indulging in sexual fantasies, they absolutely cannot separate femininity from sex and don't see a problem with "complimenting" someone in feminine frills by saying, "i would drag my balls through a mile of broken glass just to get a sniff of what is beneath your petticoat."

because of the cultural meme that femininity=sexuality. for many men, it doesn't have to be traditionally sexy (as in revealing, form-fitting, flashy, whatever). if it is making a noted effort to be feminine, it is potentially available to gratify them.

(this is why sissies can get off despite looking like shit. just having or wearing symbols of femininity is enough to excite them, it doesn't have to look good.)

I have quite the large friend who has a complimentary issue. She has quite the problem with fat fetish people. (She had a name for it, but I forget what she called them.) Men quite regularly approach her and say the most disgusting things related to their fetish like, "I'd love to take you out and watch you eat."

Unfortunately, the same thing is happening to you but in a different fetish. Most daddy/sissy fetishes involve dressing women (or men) in frilly pink outfits. Lolita for them being about a high level of sexual desire.

In normal men, I don't think Lolita brings about strong sexual desire. It's not exactly the type of dress that has men catcalling like a short mini skirt and crop top would bring about. If anything, you are just a pretty woman in a fancy but modest dress.

Unfortunately, daddy/sissy fetish people see it as a sexualized version of the imitation of a little girl. They really think you are wearing that dress for no reason then to appeal to their pleasures. They really think you are going to say, "Oh yes, I'd love to pretend you are my daddy and sex you up."

Just like my friend has men who really think she'll say, "Oh, I'm really going to gorge my face in chocolate cake while you masturbate naked tableside."

I guess what I'm saying is 90% of fans aren't skirt chasers, its just a fashion that happened to attract a strange subset of people. A lot of daddy/sissy porn and underage hentai feature girls in frilly outfits.

Now for those wondering why exactly Lolita attracts sissy/daddy fetish people.

This is a photo of what those people wear, what they have been wearing for years and years to get sexy in. To them, your brand looks like a really high quality sissy outfit. To then, Lolita is sissy fashion without the terrible satin.

It should be easy to see why they find Lolita attractive.

Its a retarded minority in my opinion. But this is a guys opinion so take it with a grain of salt.

Also i don't generally hang out with places where douchebags gather, but i would guess that if you go trough a large city in full lolita wear, you will attract a few douchebags as you will tend to stand out.

You need to kinda realize that you will attract a few douches if you are standing out enough(that goes for anything not just lolita), and lolita definitely stands out.

Here is the thing. Turning people like that down is the least issue, usually they just let it go if you say you are not into such things, unless they are a really pushy creep.

I have no idea how else they would find someone who is into the same fetish than they are. Even nowadays not everyone is as well versed in the internet as the younger generations. So just asking feels normal to them. Remember the saying? It never hurts to ask.

I'm way to shy to converse about my fetishes or sex life with anyone i don't know tough so whatever, unless i downed a few drinks with that person and the other party initiates the theme.
