Anon is talking about cup size, meaning the actual amount of tissue in your boobs which has a huge effect on how a dress will fit and back shirring only helps so much with cup size issues. a dress bodice's cups in the material, tend to fit a B or C cups worth of breast tissue. Hell it's perfectly possible to be well under the max measurement and still boobloaf a dress because your cup size is too big

I'm not talking about how many inches around your bust is horizontally, I'm talking about how long the bodices are in comparison to how many vertical inches your boobs will take up in the bodice. Even if you're a twig, if you have say....a DDD, most dresses are going to fit you because the shirring has plenty of room to fit. But just because you can get it on, doesn't mean it will be flattering because the bodice isn't meant to hold a cup that large. The placement of the waist is jacked up; a regular waist dress looks like a high-waist, and a high-waist just looks off because you either put it where it should be and the boob area gives you hella cleavage OR you put the neckline where it should be and you end up with a weird maternity-wear tent that just hangs down from the center of your tits.

Hell, even buying custom-sized won't necessarily fix this issue. I'm a busty person (to the point of it being ridiculous and am kinda looking into reduction). Back before I wised up about not buying replicas, I had a custom sized one from DOL just for the sake of not wanting to try to squeeze my tits into something. STILL had boobloaf because it was made for a wide ribcage, not huge boobs. Honestly, I'm starting not to give a fuck about boobloaf because it's something that's pretty much impossible to avoid if you're above a certain cup-size.

I do, but I don't think that lowly of it. That would be fine somewhere else. I only see a few things wrong here, really. I'm a 30F, ~90cm bust (and kind of a twig everywhere else) and I just wear a minimizer bra and avoid high-waisted dresses. I end up looking like a more reasonable C-cup and the bra helps to lift and separate to stop boobloaf. There are so many styles and sizes of lolita outfits at this point that there's no excuse not to find one that fits, even if that means saying no to your dream dress.
