Did this a pretty long time ago, it's my first and only. Not so sure what I should improve on/change/switch out or if I should try to make another coord. Any thoughts/comments/suggestions/help/anything?
I didn't want to spend a shit ton on my first coord in case I fucked up so it's probably cheap looking as hell because (for lolita) it was. Go easy on me if it's terrible lol I'm a beginner.

Telling you to study Lolita in depth is constructive advice. You desperately need to read up on it. It's extremely frowned upon to leave your blouse untucked in a Lolita skirt, by the way.

Here are some highlights you need to focus on before anything else

>learn to make a coord with good color distribution
>learn to try and keep it in all one style
>tuck in your goddamn shirt
>accessorize

>>9126528
To offer you some advice that isn't just pure salt, try following the rule of thirds with your color distribution. Imagine your body into sections: head, torso, legs. In each section you should have one your main color choices represented.

Let's start with the skirt. That is mostly pink from what I can tell, so to compliment it you might want to go for a pink hair accessory and pink shoes.

It's generally a bad idea to have the same color on your top and bottom unless it matches well. So instead of the blouse you picked, instead why not a white peter pan collar blouse? You can then add some pink jewelry on top. To balance the white top go for some white print tights or otks and then perhaps a white bag.

This is a simple coord that I described but I think it's a good thing to try as a newbie and will help you get a feel for balancing the colors. If you make sure every main color is evenly represented then you won't look shoehorned or poorly planned.

Good luck!

They didn't say that at all, but this is why coord help threads on cgl have turned into a joke. If you want people to get better in the fashion, then being a raging bitch so you can prove yourself to anonymous randos on an internet image board isn't gonna help. If you were a real lolita, or an actual experienced one and not a newfag whose read every single lolita newbie guide and now thinks they're an expert, then you wouldn't just say "this looks like shit, start all over" You would actually tell them what looks wrong and why and how to fix it and how they should start over. You don't need to hold their hand, but saying something like "you should use ____ colored shoes instead" is far more helpful than whatever it is you're doing you fucking autist.

>>9126509
I'm guessing the photo is this way because you want to hide your identity but it's a lot more helpful if you could take a clearer photograph next time with better lighting and more straight forward angle. You can always cover your face up with a sticker or some scribbles, or you could also lay your coord down and take a floordinate pic.

First off, like the other anon said, it's generally frowned upon to leave your blouse untucked. There's a cute bottom ruffle but blouses that are made to be untucked usually have much fancier bottoms.

It's a little hard to touch upon the color balance of the coord because of the lighting. Just looking at this as is though I would say if you're going to have white shoes, I would try maybe for a white handbag. The one you have now looks slightly out of place since it's a chocolate motif and doesn't seem to match the motif on your skirt. The legwear also seems a little bit too dark/nonmatching in terms of color (pinks seem too different from the other pinks). Try something like white lace tights. If you really really want to keep the handbag then I would say switch white shoes for pink in the same color and switch the legwear to white.

In any case I recommend switching the blouse to white with cold accents and getting the same teja tights in white and gold as well. Also you might want to make sure your shoes are the same color temp of gold as the rest of your outfit. It tends to get picked on if it isn't.

In theory, it looks cute with that skirt, but the flowers in the hat are too beige-y and all-in-all too busy. If you really want to wear it with lolita, I'd say get a very simple black OP, like an IW one.

Protips: Spend a lot of time researching shops and sellers. Don't ever search for "lolita dress" and expect to get something of decent quality ever. You will always get what you pay for. Unless it's second hand brand and you score a great deal.

Check closetchildonlineshop.com (you might need to google a guide to help you buy from them but they ship overseas) or wunderwelt (easier to use for first timers, newer site) and you might be able to find something similar along those lines for at or under $100. First of all, we can't even really fucking see the coord because of the shit lighting. Maybe the pink matches. Maybe not. The patterns on the tights clearly don't match, and the blouse needs to be tucked in. Plus, chiffon blouses are not really appropriate with skirts, they're for jsk's so you can't see your cami/ bra (besides being too fancy). Cutsews and cotton blouses go better with skirts. Rather than that full overdress thing a sheer overskirt or bolero may be an idea. I wonder if you could make your own/ commission a net overskirt with flowers within it in the style of the headdress? Wearing something like that over a plain OP could be an option.

I'm not a total newbie but I've had a hard time with this dress because it's more mauve than pink - does this coord look ok? Any tips?
we only have 1 floor mirror in the house. I blurred my parents' bathroom stuff.
it doesn't look it from this angle but I'm actually 185cm and it's a little above my knee but I elected no underskirt for this style, and I also just get sick of them.

• I want to get another pair of the OTKs so I can have two of the pink/purple unicorn sock (the blue is jarring to me in this), but is it OK to wear them until I can find another pair? Does it look bad?
I really do like this print even if the bodice is plain and it's just bodyline.

Like, I know it isn't tumblr, and I don't want it to be, but people post here because they're unsure if it's good, acting like they're totally retarded because of what they put together is only gonna discourage them and make people not want to ask for help here

hey, gothic beginner from the General:

if you don't trust your judgment don't start building your wardrobe yet. walk before you can run and focus on one solid first coord.

you really, REALLY want to have experience with your pieces and their materials first because goth coords look really bad when the blacks are mismatched. for example, some of the blouses in pic related look like they have a bit of shine, and will thus appear a dark charcoal next to a truer black.

none of these things look bad individually, except for the otks. I suggest getting brand lace otks because the lace is better quality and has much better shape.

you'd waste so much money, anon. there are pieces that will fit you, just do more research. why pay reseller markup prices, as well as the cost to ship things, when you're just going to have to alter everything?

wait until you find something that will actually fit. google the max busts for pieces that are posted by those who own them.

no one buys their wardrobe all at once; you build it. get the main piece(s) first, then you'll know what blouses to match with it. make your first purchase small and something that can last in your wardrobe for a long time.
a good, functional wardrobe is made of blouses and legwear etc. that can be worn with several of your main pieces.

as for the socks, I'd suggest getting ones with torchon lace, as the lace is more durable and thick quality cotton (pic related).

This is adorable and I love the bag! I agree with the other replies about making sure the whites and pinks are all the same shade.
If you use the beret I think adding a white bow clip or rosette of some kind to it would be an idea.
A bit of a nitpick but to me the tights seem a bit immature looking. I think smaller, swiss dot ones would be nicer.

Also, what are you going to do for your hair? I feel like braids or something would be nice under the hat.

>>9130162
A short navy coat could look cute over this, and maybe gray or pink thick knitted legwear? A beret in a matching color is nice too.

>>9130295
That's a very versatile looking dress, nice find! I'm a sucker for country style myself so I wanna say the boater with flowers, lace gloves and socks, white heels, and then just add a basket bag.
If you want to go the oldschool route then go with the rectangle headdress, heart bag, RHS, and add white under the knees socks.

You can do both these coords so I guess it depends on what you feel like or what pieces you have atm.

>>9130427
I mean, it's a pretty standard solid skirt so as a piece by itself it's not ita-- it just comes down to how you coord it. To me that blouse is a bit cheap looking and so makes the whole outfit kind of sad.
Also I would avoid pairing the white shirt with a beige skirt unless the colors are starkly different enough. Maybe find a nice classic brown, navy, or wine blouse instead? Cotton would be better like the other reply mentioned.

>I never said I was a Lolita
exactly, and that's why you shouldn't be giving advice in a lolita coord help thread. she came here specifically to get advice from other lolitas, not random people. if she wanted the opinion of random people for basic pointers, even if it's just color coordination, she would've just posted on her personal facebook page and asked her friends.

I don't know why people get so pissy about this. Lolita has a very specific look and silhouette - when people who don't understand the fashion get involved you're at risk of giving people bad advice. People get pissed off at LFM on facebook for being strictly mod-only posts (unless otherwise given permission) but now I understand why. Half the people posting on here and on FB in lolita threads aren't even real lolitas.

This would be like 2 noob students going to an experienced tutor for help and one of the students trying to give advice over the tutor. Maybe they have a point or maybe ythey don't, but it's probably not really their place unless the other student asked for their opinion.

When people post in these threads, especially noobs, you should assume that they want the opinion of REAL lolitas, experienced lolitas even, who actually have been in the fashion and at least know a little bit about what they're doing. Sage because you've apparently left the thread and I'm late to the party, but I had to get that rant out.

>>9130295
If you go the oldschool route, definitely stick with the white shoes (RHS would be the best in my opinion) and don't wear gloves. If you want the country route, brown shoes are cute, I would just try to add in a little bit of brown somewhere - I think the best place would probably be on the legwear. If you can find something with small brown details (like, maybe brown flowers going up the socks or something) that would be cute. That's just me though - it's not the end of the world if there's brown shoes and only brown in the shoes.

I think a gold brooch on the bow of the blouse would be really cute and elegant. Some type of gold detail added to the beret might be cute as well, like a ribbon or a pin. I'm personally a little iffy about the shoes because they look a little to clunky/sweet for the mature vibe of your coord, but they aren't terrible. If you want to change them I'd go for something with less of a platform and maybe not any scalloping details.
I think adding some kind of gold rossette to the bag might be cute too!

Looks simple and cute so far! I would advise using a different style of shoes though, the ones you have here seem too sweet for the sophistication of the rest of the coord. Simple heels like the ones you see IW sell or short boots would look nice.
Pulling out the gold tone from the socks with a brooch on the blouse or a necklace would be a nice touch. A neck/bowtie or jabot might be good too? Adding something to the beret like a rosette or bow would bring everything together I think.
Overall keep the vibe simple like how it is, don't get crazy adding gold everywhere or something.

I'm a little stumped on the hair for this. I want to go for a vintage princessy vibe, like the Audrey picture on the right. So I was thinking maybe a toned down hime poof? Or maybe just curls? Or a high bun + some curls hanging down on the front? Also not sure if I should do a bow + roses, or just roses or what.

I'm also a little stuck on the shoes, as the ones I have are obviously too plain. I haven't really looked around, but I'm not really even sure what direction to go.

Finally, the color of the dress is kind of a pain, so I've resigned myself to just having to order stuff and see if it actually looks good. I know the tights and the flowers look nice with the dress, as I already have them, but the bow and bag are up for debate.

I think for the hair you could take a nod from the Audrey pic on the right and do curls with bangs, and maybe tie back a section with a ribbon or pin with a floral clip.
I would skip over those tights you have and get ivory/ whatever white shade matches the OP lace tights instead.
The idea of the coin purse is nice but the pink doesn't seem the match the op, maybe something similar in ivory, light brown, or another color could work? Or you could try to find a vintage floral or beaded coin purse instead.
For the shoes you could always get plain ones and adorn them yourself with matching flowers or bow clips. I thought pic related style could be kinda nice, and there are similar non-patent heels like this out there too if you don't like the shine.

>>9131604
I think OTKs work if your dress reaches the top of them, ie you don't end up with like a gap of skin, then a chunk of socks, and then your shoes. If that isn't the case then go with tights instead-- they probably work better.

So I've had this dress for a while now and it's been sitting in my closet collecting dust because I'm struggling to coord it. My biggest problem is color matching. It's hard to tell in the picture but the green is a very unique green. It's not emerald or forest. It's more like a grey green with a few warmer patches. Anyways I've tried very hard to find matching greens and I've given up on that. It's weird how much clashing of warm and cool shades there are in this dress.

I have tried to match it with the tan like the model is doing but I still don't like it. I'm considering trying to bring out some of the red but it's again a very weird shade of red like an orange red. I'm also considering a pale yellow (which Is actually what color the false top is irl) or gold accessories. I cant seem to find a yellow thats the same color either. My friend suggested I try covering the top of the dress with a black cardigan or blouse and using black accessories but I think that'd actually be worse.

I'm on the verge of just selling this dress. I feel like an idiot that this is so hard for me

Hey gulls, could I get some help?
I'm getting a wig for lolita, and I'm wondering which one would look the best/be the most versatile
These are some that I found that I like.
The bottom left one is with pigtails, I know some people dislike them, but would it be okay since it's kinda toned down and (semi) natural looking?

pigtails are cute but will really only look right with sweet.

when it comes to wigs, besides quality which is obvious, I think color is most important-what looks best on you- and what's most fun for you to wear. I've owned a ton of wigs and have 6 right now.

for ex. I have curly shoulder length brown hair and so I really only wear blonde with Lolita, because it's more fun for me, I feel more dressed up, etc.

Long wigs can be kind of a hassle, if it's your first wig id say get one shoulder to collarbone length. My favorites of what you've chosen are the 1) the top row 2nd to left (blonde) and 2) the one with the model wearing a bonnet. stay away from platinum blonde wigs for Lolita; they're normally very yellow and only good on VERY pale people.
I'm not sure of the general quality of taobao wigs, if you're looking to just own one also check out lockshop and dreamholic?

Natural hair colors should work perfectly well with any style. Some may be more "typical" (like black hair for gothic) but generally speaking it doesn't really matter so long as the wig is high quality, the color flatters your skin tone and the cut flatters your face.
That said, the twin tail wig might not be as versatile compared to the others since its style is very cute and would mostly suit sweet best.

I made a gothic coord that included a bonnet, posted it here for concrit a couple years ago and everyone told me it was styled more classic because of the bonnet.

And I'd say in most cases, when a bonnet is worn, it's more in a Classic style coord. So I figured that substyle favors that type of accessory.

not that anon but

I personally love bonnets. I am always hunting for them to go with my coords, which are mainly sweet. It all comes down to how well it works with the rest of your coord. It needs to match the style, IE: no roses for gothic (assuming the main piece and accessories don't include them)

bonnets can be appropriate for any style really. But other than bonnets, maybe straw hats? They're a little country too but if you are skilled at classical then I'm sure you can make it look elegant.

.....I'm not sure what you ended up studying for years if you somehow have the impression any accessory only goes into one style. Almost any accessory can be any style, it depends on the colour, the motifs, the frilliness, and what the accessory actually looks like. Even then, the one specific accessory can sometimes be used in different styles.

As for your case with the bonnet, it's hard to tell without seeing the coord itself, but the more likely case is that you coord skewed less gothic in the first place, and the bonnet simply pushed it over the boundary line towards classic rather than gothic, and not that you had a perfectly gothic coord that got labeled classic because you added a random bonnet.

I just bought my first dress and I absolutely adore it, but I am struggling to figure out what to coord with it. I think I am just getting overwhelmed looking at different sites and just being new to everything in general.

The pictures of lolibrary (http://www.lolibrary.org/apparel/lace-shirring-sundress)) do not do it justice as the blk/beige colorway is almost a pretty, pale lavender. I probably will not wear it for some time until I am able to get a nice coord together as well as a few more wardrobe pieces, but would you say that a plain blouse and accessories would work because of the dress' pattern and texture? So, I think there is some confusion going on here.
You have a very summery jsk, floral and airy look, and you're pairing it with heavy winter items. Your blues are all over the place, normal fag turtlenecks have no right to be in this, and I am really questioning your tights here.

I would say don't try to force the dress into a coord it's not meant to be in, and go back to the drawing board. I really do think you need a different main piece if you're making this for cold weather.

>> No.9133772

personally, I think that a plain blouse might not work with this because the dress is so elegant and detailed. Im not saying to get a blouse with an intricate pattern/design, because like you implied that would be too much for an already intricate dress. But i would not pick a casual looking blouse for this dress. A blouse in a contrasting but still luxurious texture like silk might be nice, and it might look good to have some type of detailed neck tie or collar area, as well as pretty (not cute) buttons. Blouses are a deceivingly tricky part of coordinating, so if you find a blouse you think you like but aren't sure about I would recommend posting here again.

I agree that the pigrailed one is probably too sweet... I might get it some other time.

I own a lot of wigs already, but none of them are really suitable for lolita.
Long wigs are indeed a pain in the ass, so I'll probably go for a medium, or atleast trim a few inches if I get one of the longer ones

As for quality, I've always been very positively surprised whenever I buy wigs of taobao, so I'm not too worried about that.

>stay away from platinum blonde wigs for Lolita; they're normally very yellow and only good on VERY pale people
Oh wow, never thought about that, but now that you mention it I see how that can become a problem. Thanks for the warning.

Lastly, I just wanna point out that lockshop has been kinda shady lately and a lot of people have had problems with them. I'm not really that up to date on it, but I'm not sure if they're really recommendable anymore. You could probably find out more with a quick google search though

IMO you can leave your blouse untucked but as it is it looks like you're wearing a shapeless ruffled bag as a blouse. Its huge on you. Or maybe its the bad posture in the picture but it looks no good.

what are some good footwear options for dresses like pic related?

the shop coordinate pictures tend to feature glittery or metallic heels which don't seem very versatile for my closet (mostly sweet/classic). would traditional tea parties be too sweet for these?

>> No.9134780

>>9133574
Maybe you could post your own pic of the dress so we could get a better idea of the color? I think you could stick to wearing mostly black with this and maybe add a pop of color with a hair accessory or jewelry.

I agree with the other anon that a plain blouse would be kind of underwhelming with this. See if you can find something with interesting sleeves or neckline details instead. Something like a high collar blouse accented with a necktie or jabot and a brooch could work, but I guess it depends on what kind of style you want with this?
For the other pieces I think black lace tights, black heels, and a black (maybe beaded or decorated?) bag would look nice. For headwear something floral might be good.

>>9134294
To me this looks like a standard sweet peter pan collar blouse would work fine with it. If that covers the neckline more than you'd like then something with a round neckline and bell/puff sleeves should work too. Maybe one of those chiffon half blouses would be fitting?

>>9134475
I know a lot of people (including me lol) aren't a big fan of the using gold as a neutral thing, but you may be able to get that star bag and shoes to work... definitely ditch the star clip if you want this to be elegant at all.

It's a little odd your other option is to use head to toe mint because this dress would look really nice with ivory accessories instead!
My idea would be to use an ivory high neck or hime style blouse, ivory lace or simply patterned tights, and the gold shoes and bag. For jewelry a pearl neckline and bracelets are elegant and you could find a headdress with pearl details as well-- I don't think that bow clip is really suited.

>>9134614
Pairing that print with brown works fine but the chocolate idea doesn't really make sense to me.

>>9134771
I think tea parties would look too sweet yeah. If you don't want the AP glitter heels then plain heels should work just fine. If you have classic heels in like ivory or white then those may be suitable.

All three dresses you posted are frilly pastel things from AP though, it looks already looks sweet lolita before you even think about the shoes. Honestly I would say just go with the tea parties and go sweet all the way.

If you're looking to tone them down, then pumps in dark colours would work, but you have to keep an eye on the coordination. Eg- red shoes and accessories with white blouse and pink dress, keep within a mostly monochromatic colour scheme. I can't really think of a good colour that matches across all three dresses (other than gold/silver/white), though.

You could try shoehorning brown into the coords to try and make them look even less sweet, but honestly it's a hassle, and has a high chance of looking like you don't know your lolita and mixed up your substyles. Which is why I'd recommend just going full sweet, it's easier to follow the formula and end up looking like an AP clone, but a nice-looking one, rather than try and be a special snowflake, and end up looking confused and cluttered.

One option is to do the blouse and legwear in sax, keep the pink headwear, and use gold shoes and bag. Another option could be a white blouse +legwear, the pink shoes, and then a sax bag and headwear.

I think that bouse looks fine but you could also try a round neckline one or something hime style.

I'm in favour of looking good over being anally assblasted about some left-brained theme thing, so I'd say as long as you have a good balance of shapes and colours, just go for it. If your comm is notorious for posting people on cgl, or you know there's folks in your comm that are super anal, maybe save the coord for the less fancy meetups where people generally care less.

I have to mention here that I don't think this coord is particularly good, though. There seems to be too many small colour clashes, like the blouse doesn't quite match the white of the skirt, the beiges all seem to be different shades, the dark brown is too dark and at least the neck bow tie seems to clash with the bag, the gold on the bag being too bright for the gold on the skirt, etc. If there was just one clash I think the coord would still look okay, but with so many "off" things, the whole coord looks kind of "off" as well.

If you wanted to style this dress a bit differently then a traditional lolita style I might suggest a flower fairy theme. Not wings and glitter but pairing it with soft floaty fabrics and adding floral corsages and or head peices.

I think the trick to adding motifs to the sorts of versatile peices is to subtly invoke a feeling rather then going "Stars!" and shoving stuff in.

Also I like to play with different shades of the same color, pairing mint green with a forest or emerald green is really pretty. I think the issue the gold has is that it's too yellow for the cool mint green,. To much of a tonal shift.

There is no defined formula but a rule of thumb is that it should ideally be spread throughout evenly. Here's what I usually do:

Headdress the same color as main color of dress. Shoes and bag match secondary color. Socks can incorporate both colors OR socks are secondary color while shoes match primary color. Sprinkle small hair accessories of secondary color on head and rest of outfit, like hair clips and brooch. It really helps to look at nice non print coords to get a better feel of it.

The basic formula is to match the blouse and legwear colors, dress and headwear, shoes and bag.
For main pieces with colorful or busy prints you then have to consider smaller elements to keep the balance-- for example, sock pattern, jewelry, secondary headwear color, additional bows or rosettes, flowers, etc.

Thought about posting in bodyline thread but figured this thread was more appropriate.
I bought this dress in pink from Bodyline a few months ago and have been putting off wearing it out because of the shade of pink of the dickie area; it's a baby pink that not only is more sweet than classic but that also clashes horrendously with the main color of the OP.
So my question is:
Should I alter the dress through sewing, such as maybe remove the collar area and replace it with a new one (not sure if this is possible or if I'm skilled enough) or maybe just getting rid of the top portion altogether and making it a high waisted skirt?
Or would it be possible to dye just that portion of the dress? And what color would look good?
Or should I just look for some cardigans or boleros that will cover up most of the area? And again, what color would be nice to pair with this? Im thinking maybe a brown or a shade of green?

Thanks for the help. If you'd like a better picture of the dress I can take one of mine.

You can't dye just a portion of the dress.

Personally I would unpick the bib section and use it as a pattern to make a new piece in a better colour. If you aren't that confident about sewing you may be able to find a thrift store blouse with a collar that works saving you the trouble of doing button holes etc, then you just cut out the section you need and use some fabric from the rest of the blouse to make the ruffle.

High waist skirt would be easier though I think, but don't forget to interface the waistband so it doesn't fold over on itself.

You need something pink on top to balance out the wrist cuffs and the socks. Also, your hair looks limp and thin; look up some hair styles that would be more Lolita appropriate, otherwise the HB looks top heavy.

>> No.9146731

I think if you got the tights in white and gold then switched out the blouse for a white one this would look so much nicer. Too much colour blocking with the wine and the random black looks weird.

>> No.9146814

>>9145930
To me the pink shade is a little hard to discern from the white, but maybe that's just the photo. I'm not a big fan of the pink wristcuffs with white blouse either.
What I would do is switch the cuffs and socks to white and then get pink shoes and a bag-- or maybe more of an apricot/ warm beige color if you can find it? I think that would help the balance.

Maybe I've completely lost the plot but I was thinking it might be cute to give this a hint of 50s/60s vibe. White lace/ivory tights, glitter heels, contrasting 'pop' (rather than too intricate) type bag and a matching pink tilt hat. Sadly I couldn't find a tilt hat in the correct shade of pink but hopefully you can kinda get the idea from this shitty collage.

Are these shoes ok for otome, or lolita?

>> No.9148625

>>9148613
Definitely for otome, but they're on the plain side for lolita. Generally, you'd only use browns much for classic or chocolate-themed sweet, and these aren't really sweet or ornate enough to match. Plus, that's a tricky shade, so a fashion like otome, which isn't matchy, is better.

fair enough, I don't see 'hime' when I look at it myself, probably as I kinda see it as a less is more dress to stop it from looking busy. - I see more retro than surgery princess. I would follow pic related styling but in your colorway - hair accessory worn on one side at an angle - something in pink, white/cream with pearls, quality lace/net tights in white/cream and some elegant but very girly lolita appropriate shoes in a matching shade of pink. Keep it relatively simple.

The JSK itself has chiffon on it, so wearing a chiffon blouse wouldn't be weird, but if you don't think it'd work, I'd stick to cotton blouses with a lot of detailing around the neck area.

One idea could be white tights with a gold star/celestial print, navy shoes, white bag, and a red headbow with like a gold moon or star charm.
Alternatively you could do this all red/blue/gold with navy tights, gold shoes, and a gold moon or star bag.
These are both kinda cutesy ideas for a punk/goth brand so if you want to change the style then pick a different blouse to work with.

Calm down with the accents, OTT chan. Skirt coords work better with casual looks, like socks instead of tights, clunkier shoes instead of heels, and cutsews instead of blouses. Putumayo skirts don't have room for OTT poof, and end up looking stupid when overstuffed.

Cheap blouse with peter pan collar?? Can't say I'm feeling it anon, frankly I think it will look really awkward. One of the coolest things about the dress is that it's got really nice crisp, clean lines so you should try to follow that look - so no obvious lace, frills or fussiness.

If you feel you must wear a blouse with this (I think it looks better without plus the shoulders are somewhat covered so I think it works fine) go for something with a very high neck.

The shoes are really cool and whilst not a terrible match I don't think they're really the best style for the dress, something matt would be better, ankle boots or matt chunky mary janes would look especially good.

If you really want to go for bodyline, I think l538 would be a much better option or even p330.

Not her, but you should probably lurk more before you buy, so you have a firmer idea of what style you're going for and how you're building your wardrobe. You might also want to stop using a name: we're really hard on namefags.

A good start is to avoid striped socks. They look ita with modern sweet, but even when done right, they can seem clunky and cartoonish. If you still want multicolored socks, brands make lots of patterns, mainly matching specific prints.

Another option that works for monochrome pieces like you posted is color blocking with detailed solid color legwear. Common options for this include lace topped knee socks, lace tights, and socks or tights embossed with a pattern.
