I still wore petticoats, just simpler ones, and I still wore the correct shoes, but tea parties, very low heels, or RHS.

I wore tights all the time and correct head accessories that I took off for roller coasters. Honestly I didnt even think it made the heat unbearable.

You shouldnt dress like shit because its disney, just dont go OTT with it. As for strict, they really arent that bad, they just dont want you to look like a princess character or take pictures with their visitors. I only ever got stopped once for wearing an Alice coord, and even then they let me on through anyway.
