I don't care about seasons because minus winter all brands release the same shit. It would be awesome if fatal themed makeup was actually Halloween themed or with pumpkin or warm brown colors. Do you shake the bottles before use? That tends to cause bubbles. If there's separation of the polish, it's best to gently roll it in your hands to mix it up.

I've yet to find a holy grail basecoat, but I really like Essence's XXXL Gel Shine topcoat.

Do you shake your nail polish bottles before application? If so, you're letting tiny air bubbles mix in with the polish. The bubbles may not be obvious during application, but they will rise to the top as it dries. This could also be old polish though.

Lunatick Labs has great eyeshadow and contour palettes, Cryptic Cosmetics for basic gothy staples (no black yet tho), seconding Black Moon, they're my favorite matte liquid lipstick and Gloom is my go-to nude. Need help, gulls.

Lately when I apply my makeup, it's looks super.. mask like? It's almost cakey. I want something closer to a dewy, glowing complexion, but after makeup I have this flat, dimensionless one.

Here's my routine:
Maybelline Baby Skin Primer
Missha's Signature Complete BB cream in #13
Drug-store concealer for dark circles
E.L.F. Correcting Powder in Cool
Some basic e.l.f. blush that doesn't suit my skintone (I know I have to change this one)
Clear eyebrow gel
Hypoallergenic mascara (in black, trying to find a good brown one)

What should I change? I'm always sure to moisturize and use sunscreen before applying makeup. I was thinking of adding a highlighter and searching for a BB cream that is lighter and dewy, since the Signature Complete is rather heavy (but the only bb cream pale enough for me.) I'm very pale, cool toned, with slightly dull skin that I'm trying to improve with better skincare. Is it just my skin? Is my application wrong? Please help.

I think it might be the Missha's BB cream. I used to use their perfect cover BB cream and it definitely makes skin look a bit more dull and cakey. I never used the Signature Complete BB cream though, but try finding some other bb creams.

A damp sponge will help thin out the BB cream. Missha is more on the medium coverage end than light, so you might want to go for another BB cream entirely. Asian Beauty on reddit has a list of matches for Missha #13. I think Espoir's lightest shade in their cushion is usually said to be just as light, but I'm not sure about the texture/coverage as I've never used it. I also sometimes mix my BB creams/foundations with moisturizer on the back of my hand when I want a lighter, dewier complexion.

Powder will also make your face more dimensionless, so use as little of it as possible and go for a dewy setting spray. I like Nyx's for a drugstore option, but UD is always good.

Espoir porcelain has a gorgeous finish and is lighter than Missha #13 but the undertone is different. It's way more warm-neutral- Missha #13 is straight up grey pink.

I'm trying to think of other options for for pale cool/pink- I'm very yellow toned, unfortunately, so I go for the opposite. Hm. Skin 79 green, MUFE Y205 (I've never tried R210, the lightest pink shade they carry, but Y205 straight up looks PINK on me)...

I used to use Missha and I hated the grey undertone. I find Klairs Illuminating Supple BB cream to be really good. It doesn't have a grey undertone. It comes in one shade and it is supposed to adjust to fit skin tones (only light ones I think), and it works for my pale neutral skin. It's not drying, a little bit dewey, but not as dewey as Missha which was actually too much for my combo skin.

Yep! Based on what I've seen in Insta previews. I mean, I love animals and Clover is a cute dog (chihuahuas with T H I C C necks are cute in a silly way IMO) but I feel like all these colors have been released already. And the names?? Along with rolling it, make sure you're letting the polish dry in between coats.
I don't know how long you wait until you paint the next coat, but happens to me all the time when I try to rush the process.

Watch some youtube makeup artists e.g. professionals like wayne goss, to get an idea of what good makeup looks like, and then start looking for products based on the look you want to make and your skin type. I personally think it's important to learn about makeup first before you go out and buy too may things that you won't use later. That said, I think the basics are:

I've been loyal of Too Faced for about 6 years, but I am cutting ties with them. Ever since they've been bought out by Estee Lauder, their marketing schemes have lacked integrity and their quality has gone to shit.

I have SO much of their makeup (born this way foundation, 5 eyeshadow palettes, 4 blushes, 4 bronzers, primers, brush set, more shit I can't even think of) because I'm trash and I like their aesthetic, but I will no longer be purchasing any more TF products from here on out. I am so fucking bitter.

(TF Sweet Peach is my favorite palette regardless of how I feel about the brand now. The colors are really beautiful for every day wear)

To be honest, I never thought the too faced palettes had any good colour pay off, even before Estée Lauder. I have the brush set and I love it? It's super cute and the brush shapes are crazy useful, fibers are stiff and tightly packed and soft. I'm not crazy about their eye palettes though, the color combinations and choices are weird and I only wear earth tones. MAC on the other hand have the crappiest most expensive brushes ever. Hard scratchy loosely packed fibers that fall out with every use. I bought a stippling brush from them and every time I used it I had to pick hairs out of my foundation. Needless to say I stopped using it pretty quick. My friend who got duped into buying a concealer and brush set from them has got the nastiest concealer pot in the world because the brush just sheds into it constantly. It's this muddy cakey mess stuck with black stiff hairs. I have the same concealer and use other brand brushes and it's fine.

I'm honestly super perplexed when great make-up artists spout how good MAC's make-up is. It is literally the shittiest paint-pot level, skin suffocating, overpriced bullshit. I'd rather use Canmake or Physician's Formula.

Sorry for the late as fuck response but I completely forgot to consider the base and top coat could've been old.
I still have two OPI polishes that are 10+yrs, so yeah, 2+ for colors is completely fine as long as they're not running too thick.

Also meant to add that I don't really have a favorite base coat, but I love using Seche Vite for top coats.

Are there any foundations in a shade close to NC15 that don't oxidize yellow or orange? I want to get off MAC but every alternate foundation I'be used has either made me look undead (too faced, Kat von d) or like an oompa loompa (Jane Iredale, drugstore stuff).

I was wondering if anyone here had personal experience with weird eyes and eyeshadow

I'm a "hafu" Korean/Germanic American, I look more white than Asian but the biggest difference is my eyes. I have a huuuge epicanthal fold and I have double eyelids, but only barely. If I don't have my eyes pretty wide they uncrease. It makes eyeshadow a pain in the ass as I never know what to highlight and what to shadow. Certain online tutorials are good but most are rubbish.

Some highlighters I use are the ABH glow kit, cover fx liquid drops, wet and wild mega glo, glossier halo scope, and the Laura geller highlighting stick. Stay away from the TF highlighters like candlelight glow since they will fade away within an hour after application.

It's on the back of the product. However, some of these are placed so that nobody can complain about quality loos. Stuff like pressed powders can go for ages, because bacteria never go through the upper layer (scrape the first layer of and you're fine).
Face makeup with tubes and wands (mascara, lipgloss, etc) are the ones that have the highest change on bacteria development and should be looked out for.

If you end out having issues finding the proper hue of red, I recommend buying Ben Nye LiquiSet and mixing it with red eyeshadow. Liquiset will make the eyeshadow pigment pop and you can paint it on easily with a brush. I use Liquiset whenever I am looking for an odd eyeliner color, but it is an awesome multipurpose liquid.

-At night you can use Vaseline over your moisturizer to prevent it from getting on your Pillow >patch test it to prevent break outs
If it sucks Aloe mixed with a good face oil is a nice sleeping pack alternative

- Trash that Make up Base

- Use the Tinted Moisturizer first or trash it/replace with a silicone base

- Apply Color Corrector

- Apply a Powder Foundation (MAC one has high coverage without caking) or a Cushion Foundation

- Add Setting Powder if your make up creases a lot

- Apply Setting Spray

Avoid rubbing in your creams/make up cuz micropeeling and pat everything on
Maybe pick up a serum for overnight as well

Skin care can help lessen the appearance of scars which will make makeup go farther. I'd work on general skin care and treatments for scarring while using a light foundation or even a spot concealer to even the overall complexion. (Getting rid of dark and red spots will help brighten even a scarred face.) Using thick foundations and heavy primers can actually make scarring appear way worse in photos.

Paula's Choice has a sunscreen that's specifically formulated to be non-greasy, and they're cruelty-free, and though I'm not sure if that sunscreen in particular is vegan, most of their products are.

Seconding >>9539867. I would also recommend using a concealer for the redness because the BB on it's own isn't enough for me. Missha does make a nice boomer base you can put underneath the BB to make you look extra fresh and glowy. Pic related
The BB cream itself doesn't give a masky/cakey feel and I love that, but I do use a setting spray on top to help it last longer. For day to day wear I fix with NYX spray, but for more full on wear I set with a Models Prefer spray and fix with Skindivia Bridal Spray. I find that the latter technique can be a little drying so I wouldn't recommend doing it every day of the week.

In terms of primer I was quite liking the NYX Studio Perfect Primer in purple but I've recently switched to The Ordinary High Spreadability Fluid Primer to deal with my dryness. In the past I've also used Too Faced Primed and Poreless but I didn't notice enough of a quality difference between that and the NYX to justify the price (NYX is $20AUD but I normally get it on sale, the Too Faced is double that.) In terms of value and quality The Ordinary primer is awesome.

Not that anon, but it's Natural Love. It's expensive and IMO unless you've never had a palette before, not worth it. I found myself not really reaching for it. The pinks tend to look all very similar, and I feel like there aren't enough mattes for my liking. All in all I reach for other palettes more.

If you think Sweet Peach is too dark for lolita, I was wondering what you're looking for? Something more sheer and buildable or something that is just a much lighter palette in general? I feel like Asian palettes are better at both in general - I bought a canmake four shade eyeshadow in Japan and for the most part it gave me very sheer, buildable shimmery pigmentation you see on so many lolitas. Maybe look into that? Can't think of any particular ulta or sephora palette that does the same thing - the trend now seems to be a hyperpigmented eyeshadow that finger swatches well - not something that translates into nice buildable eyeshadow.

I really like beautywithemilyfox and loepsie. They're more low key beauty bloggers compared to the 'yaaaass slay' style of beauty bloggers these days. I love loepsie's historically inspired hairstyles and makeup looks, and beautywithemilyfox does mostly lipstick swatches and gives really good tips on keeping your lips nice and exfoliated enough for liquid lipsticks, something I struggle with. Use sunscreen every day, religious application.
Use concealer and foundation a shade lighter than your skin.
You will probably need a few shades of matte eyeshadow to create the appearance of dark eyebags, lighter on the middle and darker where the natural shadow under an eye bag would be. Match the shadow to what you would look like with dark eye circles from lack of sleep, generic dark brown on pale skin would run the risk of looking like you've wiped dirt under your eyes otherwise.

Echoing zoeva and sleek makeup palettes like other anons. I would recommend Arabian Nights/Under a Spell (UK/US names respectively) or Oh So Special for Sleek. For Zoeva, I've been waiting a little bit longer because I have many similar colors, but I've heard good things about their cocoa palettes. Only other suggestion I have is colourpop. You can buy them separately, or their four color palettes are now $12 or if you are ambitious they are releasing a rose hued palette tomorrow - $16 for 12 shadows. Seriously cannot beat the last one and I have heard good things about their first palette but it did run out very quickly both times!

Use a colour correcting primer of some sort. Normally for red, you'd use a light green to cancel that out and make yourself look paler.

Are you doing this for cosplay? If you're trying to go for something more frosty/undead, I'd add a little bit more blue in to the green.

Morphe is honestly a rip off. I have one of their palettes (35W) and I was pretty disappointed when I got it - most of the colors are pretty chalky and you need to work with them to get decent color payoff. The best colors in the palette are the shimmery ones but it's not enough to make it worth it. For $20 I'd rather buy a better palette elsewhere that I don't have to try so hard to make the colors look good. There's so many amazing reviews and after trying the palette out I think people are/were overhyping them because they either want free makeup or it's just easy to hype things everyone else is raving about even if it's actually not that great.

Check out Stephanie Nicole's youtube video review on them - it's quite long (like 25 minutes I think) but it's super informative and basically goes over how Morphe is most likely a private label brand and probably uses the same company/lab as Coastal Scents. Which like, I wouldn't mind, but Morphe pretends they aren't private label and they're way overpriced for what it is. Just cut the middle man price and go directly to Coastal Scents or another similar private label brand like Sedona Lace.

If there's a palette or a brush from Morphe that you wanna try, honestly just to go to Coastal Scents website and see if it's on there - they're selling some of the same exact/extremely similar palettes for only $12 which I think is a much better price for the quality of the shadows and it's no secret that they're private label (so they're at least honest/not trying to rip you off)

I have a similar question to >>9557715. I bought a wig for a character that's a silvery blonde color ("victory blonde" from Arda). While I do have a bit of a tan from the summer, I have medium, olive toned skin. In terms of undertones I'd say I'm somewhat neutral leaning more towards warm. When I put the wig on it makes me look really orange and pink.

I've seen that Japanese skin whitening cream/makeup stuff used for cosplay, is that something worth trying or should I just color correct and get a light foundation shade? Luckily the character I'm cosplaying is pretty much covered completely (long dress and boots, gloves) except for face and neck so thats really the only area I'd need to "fix".

Honestly, just look really hard at your face in the mirror and imagine a round "shape" or what your face would look like if it was round. In general I advice using a soft hand and placing blush on the middle of the cheeks instead of pulling it towards the temple/ear.

Other than that, to make my own face seem round I need to contour my jaw and some on my temples but this will vary depending on how your face actually looks.

I got two items in a subscription beauty box, the highlighter and the cooling water. Have not tried the cooling water on my face yet, but it feels just like a minty-ish primer on my hand. The highlighter is just ok. It's one of the better 'convenient' stick makeups I've used and the shape is perfect to highlight my cheekbones. It's not something I would pay $24 for because honestly for me once you have one highlighter you have them all, and while this is a nice champagne, it's easily dupeable.

I've heard really good things about the milk eyeshadows, but I don't get very excited over eyeshadow gel/gloop stuff because I have experienced colourpop which is already not my thing to work with. That being said, I've seen the shimmers look really intense and good.

I'll try the cooling water tomorrow if I wake up early enough and will let you know.

I haven't tried it yet simply because I'm really sensitive to certain formulations, but I noticed Wet and Wild came out with a color correction make-up. The peach one is supposedly for dark circles, but they also have a yellow corrector. If it's extreme purple, orange wouldn't be the best since it still contains red. (Purple has red.) Yellow is technically what counteracts deep purple.

It's 5.99. Worse comes to worse, you could just return it if the formula doesn't work for you. In the past, I have had success using corrector that appears straight-up yellow underneath my foundation, but honestly it is a pain to find and apply.

Makeup is whatever you want it to be. Contouring is absolutely not essential - I hate how it's a thing and everyone thinks looking like a drag queen is the minimum you should do (even though I like a little bit of contour from time to time). You should use a good moisturiser which can work in lieu of primers before putting on makeup.

If you're looking for a natural finish, you should check out lisa eldridge on youtube and her natural/five minute makeup routines. She's really good for giving pointers on the absolute minimum you can do for a flawless finish.

I need some questions regarding heavier amounts of make-up .
I'm putting together a cosplay of The Penguin (specifically based on his Batman Returns version) and as you can see it involves some pretty heavy make-up and prosthetics. And I don't look like him, or Danny Devito, at all.
I'm not accostumed to using make-up and I can get quite sweaty, especially since I live in Brazil and it's a tropical region. I'm fairly new to cosplay in general (it's my 5th time doing cosplay).

Setting sprays--like heavy duty ones used for movies would probably be extremely beneficial. I've heard amazing things about green/blue marble setting sprays but have no personal experience with them. They also make powders with anti antiperspirant in them! Use a good primer, set with setting spray in between layers, use a good spirit gum/glue to adhere your prosthetics. I would look for heavy drag queen makeup tutorials--different ball game but the products they use are extremely amazing for looks like this and are made for dancing/moving and getting warm. I've heard amazing things about the Kryolan TV Paint sticks if you're looking for foundation. Baking your face with a good powder could also be extremely beneficial for you, anon. Carrying a fan is also super helpful for me when I wear makeup during the summer time.

I wear glasses w/ fake lashes (occasionally) but when I do I usually let my glasses fall down my nose a bit until they no longer hit the lens, which depends on how large the lashes are.
I mostly do it at cons when i've taken out my contact lenses, and honestly I rarely have any discomfort other than my lash occasionally catching on the lens.

It's definitely a lot easier with contact lenses, but fake eyelashes are cheap as hell and won't damage your lenses of your glasses so it's at least worth a shot to see how they feel for you. It really depends on how deep set your eyes are, how long the lashes are, where your glasses sit and the curvature of your lens.

I use eyelid tape as a monolid for cosplay and special occasions, so that my eyeshadow and eyeliner are actually visible and don't smudge. I get mine from daiso and Japanese cosmetics stores and there's pros and cons to each type.

Has the best staying power, you can put a tonne of makeup over them and they stay put. Disadvantage is that depending on your eye shape they may be visible when worn, and the texture of some shines out from underneath makeup.

>double sided
You press it into your eyelid to stick to surfaces of skin together to make a fold. It's less visible than one sided but sometimes I have them come unstuck during the day because eyeshadow or oil gets on the adhesive of one side. Also requires you to poke that stick thing in your eyelid.

Very thin adhesive strip, look it up for how to put them on. Mostly invisible and have good staying power however placement can be tricky and you have to trim the ends every time and putting scissors near your eyeball is scary.

There's also glue, which works very similarly to double sided.

I'd say start with one sided tape and see if you like the look. They're also the strongest and would probably hold up a hooded lid most effectively.

For the love of all that is sacred, if you have oily or combination skin DON'T USE FOUNDATION. Use skin 79 bb cream. It was created for oily and combination skin and even helps eliminating zits.

BB and CC creams are hydrating creams with a bit of color, they do improve the skin.

Missha is for old and dry skin. I would not recommend it unless if it is for a cosplay (you will only use it for one day from time to time). For daily use, skin79 is your friend. I like the orange one. Also the green one is really good.

It really depends on the BB or CC cream, and what sort of finish you like. A lot of Asian BB creams tend to have a dewy finish which I like the look of but always need to powder down so I don't look like an oil slick by the end of the day.

My recommendations for most people are the aritaum pore master primer (nice smoothing effect), l'oreal infallible pro matte foundation (good staying power and comfortable to wear) and either the rimmel stay matte powder (pressed) or laura mercier powder (if you like loose powder).

The missha perfect BB cream is pretty alright, it has medium coverage and is kind of moisturising and doesn't last super long but has a nice look to it. If you can, grab some testers off eBay or a local store if you're set on trying it out.

I also think that anon above is being a bit dramatic about not using foundation or missha. People have different coverage/finish needs and not everyone needs skincare in their foundation.

Depends whether you are wearing it daily, for cosplay occasionally, or for lolita every so often. Also skin tone. For reference - I'm typical combination with oily forehead/nose and dry cheeks, and am about NC25-30 in MAC products although I've never actually bought any of their foundations, only tried them in stores.

For cosplay I swear by Revlon's 24hr colorstay for oily skin with Boots no 7 beautifully matte primer, but that combination always breaks me out a little because I have layers of full coverage on in a con environment. I do think the Revlon breaks me out anyway though as I tried it applied with a lighter hand as a 'daily' foundation and ended up with a bunch of closed comedones.

Currently I use Maybelline Dream Pure BB cream for oily skin as my 'daily' which is actually quite a liquid/oily texture. I work in an office which has air-con so don't get that oily at work compared to outside in humidity, I blot maybe once at lunchtime and that's it. I've also worn it on non-work days but I find I need primer or powder to help with oil control. If I need fuller coverage Sana Pore Putty BB cream is my go-to, and that's what I typically use in lolita for a more 'naturally flawless skin' look that photographs well. Primer wise, Mac Prep and Prime doesn't seem to break me out and helps with oil control - the aforementioned beautifully matte primer doesn't seem to play well with my bb creams and often balls up.

I have also tried and liked Etude House Precious Minerals Bright Fit previously but it's more expensive compared to the price of buying the Maybelline at the local shops. I can vouch for its wearability in humidity - wore it in Singapore in August and I was blotting more sweat than oil.

Yeah, the maybelline one is pretty great for drugstore/the price. Depending on what you're looking for and your skin type, Hard Candy also has great reviews on their concealers. They're super cheap, so could be worth taking a look at! I also have a NYX one that I enjoy, idr the name but it's their one in a squeeze tube! I got it on sale for like $3.

I'm trying to get out of a depressive slump, and that includes not looking like a greasy slob. I see a lot of girls who wear a full face of makeup every day, and I'd like to start wearing some too but it all looks really finicky and like it smudges too easily.

I also can't think of a way to reapply sunscreen without having to wipe off the previous layer I'd applied in the morning, otherwise it looks super greasy, pills, or leaves an annoying white cast (one layer is bad enough, two is way too white).
Anyone got any tips? Luckily my skin is pretty good so I don't need foundation. I do however need concealer, and most of them just don't work with sunscreen. I don't even know how to wear sunscreen with anything else since most of it is either greasy and goopy, or leaves me looking like a ghost. Pls help.

I don't feel sorry for her. She controls the content, and she had plenty of people who liked her content before she put on this act. There's also obviously demand for proper nail art tutorials, and every now and then you see comments on her videos wishing she'd go back to what she used to do. I mentioned twi-star; she does proper nail art and still manages to joke around like Cristine used to without feeling like she has to pander to literal children. It also doesn't help my image of her that she's started hanging out with people like Tati and they're name-dropping each other in their videos now, it just makes her so much less relatable now.

How the fuck do you find your shade in foundation?

Just an FYI to anyone wanting to buy, the recent subculture palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills has changed their formula quite a bit, mainly that their main ingredient went from mica to talc.

I really liked the unusual color scheme of the palette so I'm kind of sad to see this. It'll be definitely something I try in store before buying now.

the squeeze gel tube concealer is probably the LA colors concealer. Lots of people swear by that concealer plus it's super cheap.

The new Wet n wild photofocus concealer is good too, similar to the Tarte Shape tape.

one thing i've learned is that the color you swatch is very often not the color it'll end up being after an hour on your face.
most foundations oxidize a bit, some worse than others.
for example, my perfect shade out of the packaging is katvond's pressed powder in 45, but i had to switch to the lighter/pinker 42 because it all oxidizes to a darker, oranger shade on my skin after a short time.

i've heard a good face primer can help prevent some of the color change, but either i've yet to find a good primer or it actually doesn't make much of a difference either way.

tl;dr makeup is a pain in the ass and requires a lot of trial and error

What anon said in >>9579805 is decent advice. Swatch on your arm/hand, let them dry/oxidise for a while, look at the swatches in different lights.

Too dark? Go lighter. Too yellow? You need something pinker. Orange? Probably need something lighter/yellower/bluer/cooler/less saturated. Etc. A lot of information can actually be gleaned from what DOESN'T work for you.

Okay so. Have some color theory in relation to foundation finding!

This is what I mean about what doesn't work for you being helpful. The interesting thing is that the top set are all the same saturation and lightness, just slightly shifted in hue. Same with the bottom. But the yellower the shade, the lighter it looks on the pinker swatches.

Anyway, you can see how the color underneath will make the little dot look more yellow or more pink or lighter or darker. This is what I mean about swatching something and if it looks too yellow? It probably means you're pink. Or at least pinker than that foundation. Look at that foundation, see how it compares to other foundations. Is it supposed to be neutral? If it's a yellow foundation, try a neutral. If it's supposed to be a neutral or pink foundation, you're probably VERY cool pink and you should be looking for something with almost no yellow in it.

Off the top of my head, you said you've had trouble with foundations being too dark and too yellow. Off the top of my head I would point you to MUFE- they've got a great shade range and run pretty light. Kat Von D has some incredible shades but her formula is awful in my opinion.

I have pretty severe hereditary tear troughs, they're like indented, so the darkness is caused by shadows and not the skin being dark. There's basically nothing I can do about them, but the best concealer I've tried is Lancome Effacernes Waterproof concealer. Everything else I've tried slips away.

Do you have a good skin care routine, anon? It could help alot. Make sure you moisturize well in that area as well as exfoliation once or twice a week. Another tip is to use eyeshadow primer on your nose area as it will help the foundation stick and last!

it's a little dated but Kevyn Aucion's 'Making Faces' is a great book and due to its age you'll have an easy time avoiding current trends like heavy contour. A mistake I made when I was learning makeup was that I oversaturated myself with information by watching youtube videos so a book like this might be a better place to start. After you have the basic ideas down it's just a matter of practice/trial and error

FYI, temptalia just released a dupe list. I'm going to take a look in my own collection to see if I can cobble together a palette out of the colors she suggested and see how that works. I'm really bummed that the two duochrome colors I was excited about turned out to be such duds and are just 'toppers' rather than actual duochromes so it will be a good opportunity to survey what I have and actually make use of some of those shades I have.

Lisa Eldridge has a great 'no makeup' makeup tutorial. She pops out to me because I was sort of floored by how she made herself look flawless in 10 minutes. She also is a professional makeup artist and does really educational videos how for a variety of looks.

If you're more into korean style makeup, pony and lamuqe I find are both good. If you ever are interested, I like their contouring videos better than that of most western BG's, but I also find if I skip the contouring step that the results are still often good and give me that dewy Korean look.

Neutral is supposed to be in between warm and cool. Usually in foundation terms this means it's a blend of warm yellow/orange and cool pink. Sometimes it seems like foundation companies get clever and mix it up and use colours other than standard "warm yellow cool pink" to make their neutrals, and I find that these shades almost always look better.
