6%Doki are pretty trash though, badly stretched images of jellybeans to the point where you can see the jpg artifacts is the sort of thing I'd expect from a chinese knock-off retailer much less a brand pretending to spearhead some kind of 'JAPAN KAWAII FASHION AROUND THE WORLD' campaign. I'm glad their designs have never jumped out at me as something I'd wear but in fairness I don't remember feeling there were any issues with the quality of the fabric they use.

And yes the jewellery is a complete joke, the irony is that you can buy the individual items from their shop for 1000円 per 6 items - each item literally being stuff like a tiny pink toy comb from a Barbie playset etc.

There are two men who are potentially dangerous, vuffyvonhoof/dreammedarling and dreamypop/blazeydiscopop.

Vuffyvonhoof has a track record of posting violent, racist, sexist, homophobic, and misogynistic comments on his instagram and tumblr photos, and antagonizes people who ask him to stop.

Dreamypop/blazeydiscopop has threatened/tried to doxx people for selling pastel sweaters and also reacts very violently/with threats in comments, especially when buying items.

Both of them have been selling items online recently, from depop to fairy kei sales communities, to ebay, and are also preying on Japanese girls on instagram whose aesthetic fits fairy kei.

What scares me is that since they are selling items, they are getting the addresses of girls in the fashion.

Is there anywhere that this can be shared anonymously? Because with their track records, they will go after anyone who speaks up about them.

Listen Flavor may or not be boring, but it's not like the brand has ever insisted it was fairy kei. I think people are posting it because it's the most active related brand right now. Spank and Milklim both lost their physical stores.

To me it kind of seems like this fashion is on the decline and will probably be dead like Mori kei is. Not really sure why some people are so optimistic.

Because this kind of girly child-like pastel fashion has been part of jfashion since more than 4 decades. Kind of? Definitely accessorize, but I think a kigu would be cuter with a big pastel windbreaker over it to get more of a fairy kei vibe. The problem with the kigurumi is that it has no shape and doesn't create a sort of "fuwa fuwa" light fairy feeling, so you need to try to create that using layering and other clothing.

Can we talk about this Delphine girl buying up all the cheap sweaters and reselling them for jacked up prices? This was talked about in a fairy kei group on fb before she deleted the post. She has all the sweaters yet she's always asking everyone to help her find them but when people ask her to help them find their dream sweaters she'd rather buy them and resell it to them. People like this hurt the fk community. Sure, it's the "market" or whatever but shouldn't be blind to someone clearly taking advantage of our sales groups/fellow fk members every chance she gets.

People like that ruin communities, imo. Generally they're only in it for the short term, so it doesn't even affect them if the community suffers from scalping, attention whoring, and drama.
The only way to deal with them other than outright banning them is for people to refuse to buy/sell to them.

There is seriously something mentally wrong with this lady.
