I'm currently planning Tsukiyo's student uniform before I start doing her other outfits, as i do eventually wanna do all of them (fantasy, winter, casual, etc.)
I'm just conflicted on what to do about the hero one. I don't know what material I should do for her boots, or what to do about her dumb green face mask. I'm not sure where it ends

I thought so too but while watching the anime only episode I noticed that whenever she blushed it appeared under the stripe, and certain angles revealed that the stripe extended over the sides of her face. I can try and get screenshots later on.

Plus it always looked odd even in the manga

Sorry, adding on anime wise or color wise the green is also outlined with black, which means its something on her. I assume if it were paint or some sort of marking, it wouldn't have an outline- i.e Todoroki's scar.
I think the stripe somehow has something to do with her goggles? As the stripe isn't around when the goggles are gone too.
However some official things show her without the stripe but with the goggles so maybe it's some sort of mask, with how it extend across and somewhat upwards on her face

This is the superior tsuyu posted so far. Good wig color, good makeup and even got the pose and expression. The uniform looks really good quality too and the hairbow seems decent. Not too big or too small.

This is just plain creepy. It's not really possible to do tsuyu's mouth and make it not look nitemarish. The hair bow looks way to huge and thick too.

This one's darker wig doesnt look bad but i'm not seeing any hairbow. The eyes would have been better if not for the circle lenses. Costume is OK but the bloves could use stuffing.

This one is pretty innacurate. The gloves, harness and belt color are off and the boots are too short. I like the wig color but am again not seeing a hairbow. The makeup looks like standard makeup and doesnt really suit tsuyu.

Made my own mini collage of the mask thing. The red circles are to show the edges, and the little pink circles show how the blush ends up under the line.

I wouldn't know how to do it though or what sort of shape to do for the rest of it.

That's sort of tsuyus appeal though her elongated mouth is definitely creepy, that's part of the charm, I wish more people would try to do some makeup around their mouth to get that look, it doesn't really feel like her without it

I am doing Deku's 2nd costume but have trouble with his leg braces. I've never done cosplay before so I've been learning how to sow and put everything together but I really dont know how Im going to make the legs. Also the belt pouches have been hard to find.

Made a lot of progress on my Fumikage head today. Overall it looks alright but there are little details I'm unsatisfied with, though I think I may just be crazy because I can't take a single good selfie while wearing the damn thing.

Anyway, I'd love to hear thoughts. All I have left to do is cover the back somehow so all the ugly structure stuff is hidden.

Hello /cgl/,

I'm a newfag but I'm starting cosplaying for the first time as Deku from My Hero Academia and I was in the need of help.

The costume looked pretty simple for the first cosplay that I'd do, I saw like a body suit, white gloves, red fanny pack and arm guards but I don't know where to start and how to make them look identical. The cowl (mask and hood) and the boots are my problem as well.

Any suggestions and links would be really great! I fit into small t-shirts and pants size is 29x30 (thought my body would fit the character and I love the show).

I've found the shoes, spandex suit, knee and elbow guards but I can't seem to find the gloves, belt and the mask and hood. I'd imagine I'll have to make the mask but I don't know where to start

So we're doing the big three with friends as a group soon and I'm frankly a bit scared of Nejire's hair. Is making it basically a foam structure with bangs a doomed idea?
I was mostly considering the foam core because it's so twisty but rigid as well, at least foam would stay in shape and it wouldn't end up costing millions, either.

You should try to spike a little more the wig also please, learn how to put on eyeliner, I know it's really hard at the beginning, but if you practice a little the result will be a lot better! Another advice: never put makeup inside the bottom lid, it makes your eye look smaller and also it's not a very good look.
Try to put very little dark eyeshadow with a thin brush near the bottom lashes, only near the end of the eye, if you put it right it should make your eyes look longer!

Side note, how come most Aizawa cosplayers don't do the mask? I've seen one so far and I really just came here for advice on how to make one. The goggles are what pull the Eraserhead cosplay together. Maybe a scar as well.

I thought about doing the exact same thing. It seems like it could look cool, abeit slightly less recognizable if you're going at it without other people cosplaying from the series alongside you. I feel like if it bears enough of a resemblance it could look good, though... more realistic eyes and feathers.

I was in an old thread with the same idea for him and an anon pointed out he doesn't have feathers, it's hair! I think the style should reflect what your group is going for; more realistic colors, more 'natural' hair styling, organic materials/shapes, etc. Otherwise a realistic Fumikage would clash badly.

Working on my Aizawa cosplay and have need of some opinions.
1.I have green eyes. I have at my disposal brown and red lenses, but both pairs have an enlargening effect. What's the lesser evil?
2.Genetics are shit and my facial hair grows in super sparse. Is my best bet to use makeup and draw it on (and if so, any recommendations on what to use), or should I glue bits of hair to my face?
