I think most have either moved onto instagram, others have quit, or both - meaning that they're still active online, but moved onto other styles, like Faunkegan. If they still wear lolita, they seem to seldom document it these days, like smileysquid (goes by aliendoll) and crazysporkami (now just: sporkii).

It's been ten years since I've created my lj account and a lot's happened since. Many of the ladies I looked up to as a babby lolita were in college then, and so now many have professional lives and/or family to tend to. It surprised me to see FKA listrine_pree came out of the blue to reply to someone's tumblr post about her and Brionny - both have children and professional lives, and no longer wear lolita because while it was fun, didn't suit them anymore. I'm glad to see people like iirallina and octavekitten with strong game though. Oh yeah, Misako said she got into lolita 15 years ago (at a QnA) and all this gives me hope in being an alt-adult.
