honestly, it's a known fact that brands specifically make items for a very specific frame shape and size. It's less to do with fat, and more to do with catering toward their existing customer base and their average size. most western people boobloaf in some form. it's common. it happens. It's not exclusive to fat people either. plenty of thin women have larger cup sizes and will boobloaf in a garment cut for a b-cup (2 inch difference between bust and ribs). Even If you're a 24DD, you're going to get some boobloaf going on where as a 24B would likely not.

Waist sizes in lolita are quite forgiving but bust is the true problem. Even with back shirring if the bodice is sewn a certain way it can cause boob loaf even at normal sized breasts.

Yup, all the women on my dad's size are extremely hourglass shaped regardless of weight. I've gotten used to it. If I get called out for binder boobloaf, I get called out for it. Thankfully getting a quality binder pretty much solves any stretching problems.

Some of the older AP designs like the Wonder Cookie jsk won't ever fit me ever but the skirt does. I'm actually more attracted to skirts anyway since I feel like I can wear them around town easier.

I'm under 5' so that's a lot more proportionately then a bigger girl but it still changed. Unless you're only talking about a 5lb weightloss/gain it's extremely rare to not change the overall ratio at all.

Yeah fat distribution doesn't change much unless you get "bbw" size, but again cup size will. Just depending on your body type it may not be enough until you're close to underweight. If cup size doesn't change at all it means you store no fat there when it's a significant part of even b-cups and below. In that case you'd have a medical condition, "dense breast tissue" is the term, and increased breast cancer chances.

That really depends on where you lose your weight. I've gone down 1 band size but 4 cup sizes. When I lose weight I tend to lose it first in my bust, then my hips, then my waist. I don't think I can go down any more band size though, because my rib cage is huge and there's pretty much no fat on there except for my boobs.

Try to stuff C cup boobs on a B cup bra with the same top measurement. Will it fit? No. Most lolita dresses are cut for B cup or less and being under the max size won't help because there isn't enough room for boobs. It's still a fit issue but not just as simple as too small because it's hard to tell before you have the dress in your hands. Most of the time full shirring and adjustable straps can go a long way. I have long back and D cup so it happens easily. Bralettes do wonders to the fitting though but they won't work with actually big boobs, I could easily go without bra.

I've lost about 60lbs and while the band size went down, I kept a DD cup size. I went from 116cm to 96cm. Got a lot narrower and thinner but still busty. I also carry more weight in the midsection and in the bust. So weight comes off of there at an even steady pace. Women on my dad's side are topheavy and women on my mom's side are also topheavy and built similarly. There's no escaping this for me. I could get myself down to 15% bf and I'll probably still have huge knockers with that 15% solely in my tits.

Whereas someone with a different shape might lose those areas first. I've seen people go down dramatically in cup size while others like me just don't change.

It's not a guarantee or anything, but because of the dense tissue it's also much harder to feel and see even during testing. If it's bad enough it means only machine testing is accurate. Not to worry you or anything, but better safe than sorry. You could also just be an "extreme" apple shape like >>9656018 though too. If that's not you already that is.

I'm pearshaped so I've got thighs around 5 inches bigger than my mother who's over 50lbs heavier for another example. Ohio egl is a very big hit or miss. A good chunk of the comm is full of fatty ita's who can barely fit into even a good taobao brand, they normally have to make their own clothes, which look pretty horrid by themselves. Or they look like they dressed in the dark. There can be some good events where there are some decently dressed ladies will attend but for the most part it's the same 3 people doing events and the same 5-10 people showing up for it. I've seen little to no improvement in a lot of these ladies coordination skills. Also there's a really gross brolita in the comm that attends to almost everything and he's super..creepy. The best thing about the Ohio comm is they do the colossalcon fashion show, which was alright the last two years. However, with my experiences with the group I would rather just be a lone-lita with like one or two lolita friends nearby that I can relate to. It's not worth joining at all trust me.

What this anon said, the ohio comm is generally...not worth it. It's fun to walk around with them exactly once a year, the halloween meetups. Every other time I've gone to a meet it was fattychans, one of them admittedly makes nice handmade dresses to fit herself though. And god, that brolita, he's always wearing bad cosplay. As a fellow Cincy area lolita who has been to meets with Ohio EGL and Kentucky all I can really say is that I think Ohio isn't all that different from most midwestern comms: there are clearly a handful of girls who obviously take the fashion fairly seriously, and dress themselves well. There are also a lot of younger girls with maybe not a lot of money/ understanding of the fashion that dress not so well-- and a few weirdos who look like theyre in cheap cosplay and act cringey. It's not great all the time, but everyone is extremely friendly, the admins mean well, and most of the meets I've been to have been quite fun.

I've heard the same complaint about most of the meets taking place in cleveland, akron etc a lot and have recently noticed a slight increase in people trying to plan things around Columnbus because it's at the very least a central location in the state. IF there were more than, like, 5 Cincy area folks I would gladly start a second common for the southern part of the state but I seriously doubt the number of people would make it worth the work.

My advice would be to at least go to a couple meets from Ohio, a couple meets from Kentucky, and figure out which crowd you think you vibe better with.

a color is only shoehorned when the main is a multi-colored print, with many colors to coord with, but the lolita uses an additional color to coord that is unnecessary and does not work.
this coord is lav x black. there is zero issue with bringing in gold, especially since there's enough of it throughout all accessories to be balanced. her coord decision was conscious and it looks fine.
minus the headwear which looks etsy-tier handmade.

Think of it like a grading system:
The tights and shoes pass but don't boost the overall score since they are bland and just there to meet a requirement.
Poof is a pass/fail category and she passes.
There's no jewelry so she gets no points added or removed in that area.
The op is cute but not a high scorer either since it requires no coording (blouse/top to dress) and is pretty simple. So it gets a a nice but not outstanding score.

Nayrt, I don't know if that specific guy is a creep or not, but as a sped teacher being autistic is not a get out of being a creepy douche free card. I work with plenty of autistic kids that are very friendly and respectful of boundaries. I also work with autistic kids that don't care about other people's comfort zones and are just plain hard to be around. They need more accommodations than a neurotypical person but there are still standards of behavior.
