That's their problem though right? Super relevant in the 2000s but they churn out the same stuff, so why buy new when it's the same cuts and motifs as the stuff from 5 years ago that's dirt cheap second hand? Also since they aren't really lolita, they missed the lolita money earners like ott sweet, ott classic, galaxy crap, even the bittersweet/pastel goth and menhera/gurokawa that would have been closer to their aesthetic.

lolita is a new fashion, without a traditional way to pass a brand's torch down to the next generation the way other multi-generational designer brands have established. we talk about brands like Putumayo being major, but they are truly indie and probably not set up to function beyond the interest/investment of their primary originators.
