I've owned these tights before and I found with the gold ones, they looked more like a dull mustard when I wore them.
You could work them in with the Meta JSK, just add a few other silver touches to your hair piece, jewellery (really cool moon cycle rings from aliexpress) and nails.

Pic run down:
BAG, BROOCH:AP
SHOES:VM Melissa
HAIR PIECE,BLOUSE: Aliexpress/taobao (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Hat-Sale-Women-Vintage-Lolita-Blouse-Summer-Black-White-Gothic-Chiffon-Lace-Ruffles-Blouse-Long-Lantern/32351749767.html))
NAILS: Google image

Eventually my tights moved from my lolita wardrobe to my normie wardrobe. So if they go more grey/black, then it'll work good with navy, purple, emerald, greys. You could also look at some otome styles for inspo as JM does some beautiful OP/JSK with regimental stripes and tartans.

Ok, so I gave it a go but I normally wear otome and larme so it might not be the best idea.

Consider changing the silhouette, this dress has a preppy look and all other co-ords seem to play on that theme. So less poof and more cozy comfy is my idea so I took inspo from some of the Jane marple store outfits that have a sweater over the main item. I think if you went this route you might have to go a bit more in the hair and make-up route but it reminded me a little of Cher from Clueless with her pink feather pen.

I've had pic related for over a year and haven't made a coord with it that I'm satisfied with. The main color is a tad peachy IRL. It clashes horribly with every off-white/cream-/ivory blouse I own, and I don't quite like it with any of my jewel tone blouses either. The bows are also impossible to match. I've been shopping for blouses and nothing seems to have that balance of pink and taupe. Pairing the JSK with an off-white blouse is the combo that I currently hate the least but I'm open to other ideas. Currently considering getting a dusty sage green blouse and accessories.

Man, this is like my holy grail dream dress. Here are some ideas I had with doing up a more mystical/ girl who works in a magical library look. You might have to DIY a few things to get the colours to match but also depends on your budget and what else is in your wardrobe. It's not so much a proper layout but I personally had in mind for myself:
Beret, shoes: blue (match color w/ jsk) Add bows or brooch for detail
Jacket/cardigan/shawl: Cream
Blouse: Brown- High neck with neck bow
Legwear: cream w/ gold and brown accents
Accessories: Gold; rings and glasses, Nails; pale blue or pink glitter

Everything in the pic is from ebay, aliexpress or spree picky

>hardmode is still making it look somewhat chic

Skip the head-chocolates and head to high street/bridal shop street. Go for a valentine-ish fascinator, eg a heart shape or a rose. (Don't get it in bright red, though. A darker red is fine if you have other matching red accessories, otherwise try to keep it all-black). Then coord the rest of your dress cool and chic, just add some heart-shapes in your jewellery to echo the theme. You're not doing sweet lolita, try to keep the kitsch to a bare minimum, and use themed stuff minimally, don't go overboard with it.

Another alternative is simply going with a heart-shaped bag, if you prefer. Again, keep the themed stuff minimal and don't go overboard. You really only need one large statement piece that hints at whatever event it is.

So the OP post is a Madeline inspired coord, so hopefully I won't be too judged for this...

I'm going to get Sheglit's Morstan OP just as it's really pretty and versatile. Looking at it I actually imagined if it does button up and I undid one and folded it down it would remind me of Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi. So I decided to have fun and make a Star Wars/Luke themed coord, but now I'm actually really excited about this idea so I'd love suggestions on what to improve.

For shoes, Lolibrary not having shoes anymore is a pain so the Claras are just moreso shortboot placeholders. Might get something Yosuke. Luke has silver hardware in the movie but my wardrobe has mostly gold and I'd want stuff I buy for this to work with the rest of my clothes and I hope it would be reminiscent of the series logo. I'm going to look into other cloaks but they're never cheap and the Boz one is in stock and has the huge hood I want…but I don't know about having a colored underside that doesn't match the rest of the outfit. Headpiece I'm a bit lost on, I always am, but these IW clips are the "Shooting Stars" clips which reminds me of the unused line "We're a couple of shooting stars, Biggs, and we'll never be stopped" so now I'm attached to the idea of using them. Jewelry will probably be gold and decided later.

I'm blonde with long hair and would probably style my hair with two bits down in the front and the rest in a bun+braid.

I want this to be a nice coord in it's own right aside from the fandom aspect, I'm probably being a bit blinded by my enthusiasm for this - does it look cohesive enough? Would this be "fandom coord done right" or does it need reworking?

I honestly think Kylo Ren or random Sith rather than Luke Skywalker with that cloak colour -- and I don't think that's a bad thing. You might as well go full dark side and make the coord red x black, seems much easier than trying to bring Skywalker colours back into it (this coming from someone who obviously has no strong alignment to either side).

So far as the coord itself goes, I'm not a fan of the utility belt, but it's not horrendous. The boots go well with the OP, but I wonder if they'll cut off part of the tights' prints. Maybe pick a few backup, go with plain or lace tights if the printed ones don't look right.

I usually see kinari dresses being coorded with white. Black seems rather heavy and needs a delicate touch to balance everything else out. Cream can be difficult to match, you run the risk of 50 shades of unmatching cream. So white x kinari with brown shoes and bag is usually the easiest route to go.

I'm writing this as a general comment not knowing what the rest of your coord for this dress is like, though.

Ah I'm glad! And that sounds amazing, I wonder if she was also mostly doing sloid pieces of if there's some print that really inspired her to think of it.

>>9770334
Yeah, the cloak also comes in navy which might suit Luke better but I own a few other dark red pieces from Boz so I'm leaning towards the red so I can use it again. I tried looking up cloaks on Etsy and such but it looks like this giant oversized hood style is rare and when it's present they tend to be rather expensive or made of shitty materials, so I might as well get brand.

I might call it more generic sith also, I just really, really like Luke, and I'm lucky I'm blonde/blue eyed to match. He's always been my favorite character in the series since I was a kid, still is. Maybe I'll joke that this is a Luke that joined his dad. Unfortunately there aren't really colors to "tie in" other than maybe green, I'll probably have a prop toy lightsaber I carry around to try and tie that in for a photo.

The utility belt pouches are the closest brand thing to his belt (it's hard to find a picture of Luke in full from RotJ but this figure shows off the outfit well) and I think suits the universe, but maybe I'll go the rennaissance festival route and get some kind of belt with pouches that's less bulky. I'm worried if I got a cosplay one that's idential to Luke's it'll be too costume-ish. Super open to suggestions on this if you have a better idea, I am all ears man.

Critical info needed, makeup info just needs applying and practice practice, concerned bout wigs, is there a color or shape/style including illusory magic of female, id love purple long one with volume for just that magic, Currently blonde with coverbang, blonde is my epitome of female but crosser would do better with shock color? Shoulder bob is absolute minimum lenght ideal, but seeing those cover-half-face mediums, are they the way to go? Generally crossing, is the easy way to go over-the-top cosplay costume? I’ll try my best. The dress itself doesn’t really scream “old school style” to me, but if you definitely would like to use it then okay!

I’d say get rid of those OTKs, the lace is not good and will be a stark white next to that creamy off-white blouse. I’d go with some OTKs from Baby or something that have chunky lace. If you want rashel lace, Meta has great ones for old school. There’s so many good options second hand on LM. The maxi pad headdress is fine, but maybe a black fabricxwhite lace would look better. Maybe even hot pinkxwhite lace? A bow would even be cute since this dress is more sweet. The shoes are fine, but I think matte would be better for this look. Those shoes are a little more gothic, but I’m sure they could work. I’d prefer black tea parties!

If you can't find anything that matches the dress well enough I'd introduce a third colour, like navy or black for the shoes, bag and head accessory. Seeing as IW bordeaux is already being discussed in here... I recently received this jsk and while it is absolutely beautiful, I can't seem to coord it right. I'm struggling with the purplish shade of IW's bordeaux on this. How would you coord this JSK without just following the stock picture? (Or how have other people coorded this in the past?) I would coord it with beige/tan and then you may get away without needing to completely match the bordeaux.
A beige blouse, socks (ideally beige x bordeaux, or maybe textured tights), and tan shoes/bag, and incorporate bordeaux into your hair accessory so it's not right by the dress.

Depends how close it is to the beige/tan you choose. I think if it looks like "I just can't match my colours" when you put them together, you'd be better to go for an off white blouse/socks and chocolate brown bag and shoes (pic here is just to illustrate that maroon with chocolate brown is amazing and wonderful). It's also relatively easy to find off white/brown print socks which would mean everything worked cohesively.
If it's a dusty rose pink and you can find accessories to match it you could always try incorporating it as a colour, but I think that's more difficult than matching staple colours like dark brown shoes with a dark brown bag or white.

There are no colors other than red and white (except for unnoticeable pink and green). Just how do I coord this?

I got a red cutsew to wear with it and I imagine I can make it work just fine with red shoes and some white socks but I'd like to add more colors without "shoehorning" it.

Problem is, it's so fucking white and red. Tried a pink blouse and it looked so fucking forced. Same thing with a black cutsew. Even spreading these colors around my coord didn't help much and it looked shoehorned. Should I just sell it?

Step 1 - Like The Hitchhikers Guide says: DON'T PANIC! It's a very pretty dress, anon. It may be new to you and may not be your usual style, but it's a relatively easy one to work with. Do not panic sell it. Take a breath.

Step 2 - Sell it to me. Personally, I'd coord it with a true white blouse (possibly short sleeves), white socks with strawberries on them, and red AP-style shoes like Tea Parties. I might wear a red or red and white bolero, if I could find a sweet looking one. I'd want things on my wrists, like wristcuffs or beaded bracelets or a charm bracelet with lots of strawberries. (I've seen a cute one like that on Etsy recently.) I'd try to find the matching headbow but would use any other red accessory matching my shoes that I had on hand. I'd also carry a red bag... Maybe a strawberry bag, or a white usakumya with red eyes. I would keep my makeup cute, but might try red lipstick.

Alternative Step 2 - There are literally bajillions of coords with this dress around. See pic related, that is one of many. I recommend posting your dress in the "worn pics" thread and see how others have done it before. Seeing them will help you come up with your own coord!

Gulls, I need help. I have the full Cotton Candy Shop set in pink and I want to do an OTT sweet coordinate but I'm very indecisive on picking a wig. I originally wanted Dreamholic's Dolly Cat in lavender or their bonbon colorway but they haven't sold that wig in a while. I considered getting their sabbato wig but the one they're selling seems to be mostly pink and I'd like lavender to balance it out in the outfit. I also considered getting a full lavender wig and restyling it (like the epic cosplay one or the lockshop one which is on sale in LM right now) but not sure if people would find it sorta "ita" or too much. My last choice is black since it goes well with my skin tone but not sure if that'll look out of place. My ideal wig would be a fluffy twintail lavender wig that's long but a bit muted so it doesn't look too cosplay-ish but it's been a challenge to find something similar. Any help?

Also, concrit appreciated on the rest of my outfit if needed. Colors look a bit off but they're similar shades irl

I guess with socks and accessories it really depends how much you care about introducing gold, since so much constellation stuff is white/gold, black/gold or navy/gold. I personally don't think black works that well with the dress, but navy/white/gold is a pretty safe bet. I have seen people introduce a pastel like lilac or pink, and then go for pastel toned stars/moon rather than metallic. Just depends on your preferences.

The necklines clash, so I'd say no. That blouse is better suited to skirts and dresses with a lower or sweeheart neckline.
As a rule of thumb, try not to mix ivory and white.
Unless you're absolutely want to go for a monochrome look, why not pair it with a colored cardigan or bolero?

>>9789163
Socks and accessories will depend on what top, shoes, etc. you wear with it. It's not hard to find coords of this dress or series, and it's also not hard to do a cursory search of accessories that would match, either.

The style of the blouse would work, yes. Just be careful with all those different shades of white/cream.

Also, please don’t use those shoes, anon. They are awful for that coord.

Be prepared for people to think “bride” if you’re wearing all white. It’s inevitable. Especially while in a classic style.

The blouse might be ok if the ruffle sits under the jsk, but those shoes are fugly. If you don't want people to think bride, coord it with colour rather than another neutral. Also, I personally think proper beige rather than ivory is best with white as it looks more like you meant to do it rather than couldn't match everything.

So my friend and I want to twin Surface Spell's "The Other Boleyn Girl" at renn faires.
We're trying to keep it lolita but still keep it as period accurate as we can at the same time.
The French Hood will be made to match the blue dresses (the red is just the stock photo from the etsy seller).
Do you think plain black hose (not sheer) would be okay for this? Again, we're bending the rules trying to keep it period accurate at the same time as keeping it lolita. (which is why the shoes are a little boring)
Any suggestions of what else we could do?

You could do small hair accessories with pigtails, cutsew, patterened socks, and pastel converse (but prepare for some people to hate it if you post online) for jfash/not quite lolita casual, for trying to pass as normie casual I'd shoehorn in black with a black blazer and oxfords, ankle socks with a frill top and a black beret with lavender bow

The original is already pretty casual jfash already, just coord it with like a cutsew and either sandals or crew socks + shoes. You don't even need big hair for this, which is why the series came with scrunchies and hair clips instead of large headbows.

If you're talking about passing for normie, I've never seen it done. The huge bow across the chest kind of makes it impossible, unless you're willing to remove it.

May I ask for general advice on how to coordinate tea-length dresses? Pictures of coords welcome if there are good examples.

1. Generally, what does and doesn't work for these kinds of outfits, particularly if one has a wide set frame?
2. Do people tend to buy longer petticoats or an underskirt? I have a shorter a-line petti that does not work for this dress length.

I'm working on the medium version of pic related in the black colorway. I know it's a set, but when I bought it I sold the blouse and otks because I didn't like them. So I'm back to square one insofar as coordination.
It hid in my closet for a couple years, and I'd like to finally give it justice. However it seems not many pictures, particularly in the black colorway, exist. Or I just don't know where to find them..

>> No.9792577

>>9792048
The blouse matches the royal/elegant feel well, the shoes seem too casual and cutsey imo. Matching the brown/beige from the jsk might work better.

>>9792328
No petti or low poof, cutsew or cardigan, socks instead of tights. Don't overthink it.

>>9792550
For my longer dresses I purchases a long A-line petti, I found one pretty easily on ebay by a vintage brand but regular lolita and taobao brands will have them as well.

>> No.9792580

>>9792487

So I figured. Just pointing out it's not the best-looking shoe for that dress length. They work in their original time period because the dresses nearly cover the shoes. I suppose you can consider asking if Surface Spell can custom make it to a longer length.

imo if you're already being inaccurate by using a shorter dress, you might as well go a little bit further and wear some kitten heels (ie- not very high heels) just to look a little bit better. If you still need flat mary janes, I suppose just ensuring you take photos at flattering angles would be fine.

For other things to add, I think you need a fancy choker of some sort with that square neckline.

>> No.9792601

>>9792550

I bought my long petti from Little Dipper on taobao, but I think it's currently not being sold. IW quite frequently has 60+cm pettis in their store, they're pretty low-poof (if you prefer that). Other brands infrequently have longer petticoats that are poofier, or you can get them off eBay or commission someone like melikestea for a custom length. You just need to keep an eye on the shape and measurements, chose a poof that suits you and make sure the length is 1-2inches (2.5-5cm) shorter than the length of your skirt. The skirt on the long version is just a tad less wide than the short version (but still wider than most IW long skirts), so I'd avoid those square dancing pettis that are super wide.

For coording advice, if you're really lost I'd just go with black everything. It's a pretty versatile cut that can work with a lot of different necklines, maybe even a bolero or a cardi if you prefer, so you have a lot of room to play with. Or you might try requesting worn pics in >>9772817 and see if anyone else has come across pics of the long jsk to give you ideas.

I'd chose a high-collar blouse in white or pink rather than the lavender crop top with the open neckline, not really sure how the two would layer together. A blouse with (small) peter pan collar might work as well. I do like the idea of sheer chiffon, if the legwear turns out slightly sheer it'll be less obvious if the blouse is also a little sheer.

The colour balance needs a little more focus, too. This is one of AP's brighter dresses, with non-pastel colours in the print, so it doesn't really work as well with the pastel rainbow you normally see with other AP prints. I'd suggest adding 3 items of the same pastel (ie- your shoes, your bag and one other item -- either a bolero or a smaller headbow). Then keeping the blouse and legwear either white or pink (the print is mostly pink on both the dress and tights).

As for headbows, you can use a solid-coloured headbow in a pastel colour, and add a few biscuit pins to it. Biscuit accessories are also pretty easy to find to accessorize with, just keep an eye on the detailing to make sure they more or less go together.

I personally think the shoes could be improved on for something a bit more elegant - the heel shape and the half-assed platform makes me think more normie office shoes than lolita with this particular outfit, even if you add shoe clips. I would be wary of pairing black with navy but if it seems like there's enough contrast for it then go ahead. Otherwise brown may be for suitable.
A lot of IW model coordinates are good inspo for simple coords. They usually wear mary jane or oxford heels and either a matching bow clip or small headbow. A beret would match this nicely too. Oh this is cute! I think for a generic sweet coord doing white and sax is nice, you could also pick up the pink or what looks like a periwinkle-type blue in the accessories. Hi everyone, I'm working on my first coord with Midsummer Night's Dream in navy, I want to do a clean navy+ivory coord and I really want to have princess sleeves.
I would appreciate some recommendations for ivory princess-sleeve blouses that are full-length to the wrist and not 3/4 length (I hate 3/4 sleeves in general, they bug the shit out of me).
Currently considering this IW blouse, yay or nay?
Thanks in advance!

Atelier Pierrot. Terrible stock photos but nice blouses. I personally find the style of the IW one less flattering, and prefer a narrow sleeve that flares rather than a wide sleeve. Depends on your body though, I have arm muscle from martial arts and swimming.

I recently bought BTSSB Wonder Story Comes in the Rose Blooming Night Violetta JSK, because it was quite cheap, now I’m stuck coording it! I mainly wear sweet, and mostly pinks, so I don’t have much else in my wardrobe. Do you gulls think it would be worth buying pieces specifically for this coord, or just reselling it? And what would you pair this with?

I cannot figure out at all what legwear to put with this. I was thinking just moreso plain crew socks but those are strangely hard to find in dusty pink. And most OTKs/tights I look at seem over complicated for this coord or are not the right pink to match everything else. Agh. Does anyone have suggestions or something you saw recently you think would work? I'm at a coord block with this legwear.

Also, should I just stick with a necklace or do you guys think I should try and get a brown choker? I'm thinking I could maybe get a brown matte ribbon for my neck but I'm worried that would look cheap.

>> No.9813869

>>9813841
I'd almost say leave your neck bare. That cutsew has a really pretty neckline and it'd be a shame to clutter it. Maybe a small pin if you want to have some detail around the bust area?

In terms of socks, dusty pink is going to be really hard to find. You might be better off dyeing them yourself if you're crafty. That shade of dusty pink is pretty muted so you can probably achieve that colour with a mix of berries and tea.

The cop-out would be to wear ivory socks and pin another ivory thing to your beret or cutsew.

>> No.9813910

>>9813841
I think a pearl or simple gold pendant that falls under the neckline would be nice (like 18-20" ish chain length?). I would recommend ivory legwear as well, I think you could incorporate it further with an ivory bag anyway--the pink bag over the pink top with a pink hat seems a bit much as is. Either sheer lace tights or classic patterned otks would be fine.

Thanks for the feedback/suggestions!

>>9813910
Those necklace ideas sound great, thank you! I'll probably tie in ivory next time I coord this skirt + shirt together (as they look nice together), I unfortunately don't own a suitable ivory bag right now and I'm hoping to wear this coord for a meet in two weeks. Super picky on bags so I doubt I'd find one in time. Since the skirt is high waist I was hoping the pink would be more against that but you've made me think of buying a brown beret to pin the MM beret pins to, so thanks! Hopefully that balances the colors a bit more without the need for a brown neck item.

>>9813869
Thanks for your suggestions too! I think I've found a pair that might work from Amazon, have a runner up from Panthrella - admittedly I'm not super crafty beyond hot glue and ribbons. That dye mix idea is interesting though, I'll likely try it if the socks don't work out. At least I'm definitely away from the neck ribbon idea.

I tried just throwing out some ideas with "varied shades of brown plus gold accents" and that's supposedly the ivory colorway of the blouse, but off white could work. If you're happy for other colours, pink and ivory is one of my favourite combos.
The argyle tights could be a bit much depending on the outfit, as even though AP likes diamond motifs, argyle in lolita is generally like a classic IW British preppy thing not a sweet chocolate thing.

ah, I know this isn't really a coord i'm working on but I didn't want to make a collage thread itself. You can make suggestions for this mini wardrobe if you like.

>> No.9820446

I'm not sure where you're going with this to be honest. Did you literally just choose things that looked like they were similar colours and collage them? That Boz dress on the left is pretty elegant but then you are kinda crossing over into that tacky Punk Rave mallgoth feel with some of the other pieces.

>> No.9820935

>>9818565

I’m normally all for genre-crossing closets, but there’s like one obviously punky skirt that doesn’t go with the red blouse, is kind of clashy with the red-and-black top, and if the black overskirt part isn’t removable, would probably clash with the short black jacket too.

So that’s like three tops that don’t really have coords. For all the hard work you did collaging this together there’s really maybe only two coords in here, the rest are just random items you can’t wear.

What I’d suggest is to pare down to ~5 items that you really, really like. Then start looking for pieces to fill in the blanks — things that you can put into actual coords with 2-3 of the 5 items that you started with. So for eg if you wanted to keep all 3 blouses, what would work with all three of them is a solid black skirt, not the striped one you included. Then keep building from there until you have a collection where each item has 2-3 coords and isn’t just floating there in limbo.

All of my peter pan collar blouses have bell sleeves at the wrist though. Will it look awkward to have the cuffs sticking out of the cardigan since the cardigan has lace detailing on the bottom of the sleeves, or it is okay to leave them out? Looks good as a floordinate, probably just need to pick up one of those Alice Auaa feather bracelets or something to tie some things more together. I'm a little stuck on a hairstyle though. I was thinking of what I drew using the little feather headdress and maybe the rose on the opposite side of the headdress in my ponytail, or maybe should I just use a simple bow clip or nothing at all? You can google "feather fascinator" and see how other people are styling theirs. For a low fuss hairstyle, you can leave your hair down and simply clip the fascinator on. For a fussier style, you can braid your hair on the back of your head. Just make sure the feathers are pointed so they lie towards the top of your head and not sticking straight out like in your drawing. The small rose should be clipped next to the headdress' rose, almost overlapping (or maybe take it off if it looks funny).

I'd personally refrain from going overboard with weird feathery bracelets, the outfit looks pretty normal so a far-out-there feather bracelet might look out of place with it.

I would suggest not really matching the orange-red at all, just work around it. An easy coord would be with ivory and brown or dark green or black (if it doesn't clash with the green lace-up ribbons).

For the strawberries, you could go with a hair clip like pic related, no real colour-matching required.

I can't figure out if you've done the awful sin of matching an ivory shirt with white lace and white OTKs or if it's a stock photo problem.

Anyway, the shoes. RHS straps tend to fall down. Some girls said they use sock glue to glue them onto their socks, others said they pin them up (onto their socks). There's a little learning curve getting the right gait to roll on the toeboxes, but once you get the hang of it I find RHS to be really nice to walk in. Most of my friends seem to think the platforms are easier to walk in, though. I do think the RHS has a more uniquely lolita feel to them, imo.

More mileage -- eh, they're both cheapo shoes with an unusual shape. I'd say their longetivity are both equally in doubt. As for versatility, that depends on what else in your closet you can pair them with.

If it makes you feel better, this isn’t the first time I’ve seen someone struggle with the colour for this. Apparently they were expecting wine/bordeaux and the thing arrives as an odd brown that doesn’t go with anything.

You can go either one of two routes. The sweet lolita route is to have sets of major items that perfectly match in colour, distributed throughout the outfit. eg- a red bustier or bolero + a red beret + red shoes. Throw that on top of a white blouse and white legwear with the skirt, and the three items being equally distributed on your top, middle and bottom will mean you’ve automatically balanced your colours. Just make sure the set is a colour that “goes with” and not something that clashes, and if you add anything else (eg etsy has a lot of moth or mushroom-themed accessories you can add), try not to disrupt the three major colour blocks too much. Like a moth pin would be cute, but putting on a whole mothwing headdress means you gotta redo your colour balance.

The classic lolita mismatched browns route is to go with a bunch of different browns, but the key is to make sure the undertones don’t clash, and don’t let the brown overwhelm your outfit. There’s a set of browns that skew a bit colder and look downright green next to warmer browns, step back and check that nothing in your group of mismatched browns look green or grey or just weird. Interrupt the brown colour with some white or ivory so you aren’t a solid block of brown, add more colourful accessories and that’s that.

wondering what kind of bag to pair with this jsk

>> No.9855703

>>9855698
Rule of thumb: If you don't have an obviously matching bag for your dress, match your bag to your blouse or shoes. In this case, you could also add a few matching rose clips to the bag if you want those lovely florals to be a theme. That should work well enough!

I'm garbage at accessorizing and don't want to drown this coord in roses too badly so I'd love some suggestions on jewelry. The shoes feel too plain, but the tights have so much going on I don't think I want to mess with them. New(ish) to Lolita so feel free to give concrit.

I don’t like the waist tie and the shoes. Since the wristcuffs have silver on them do like silver rings, a cross ring or a rose ring, and for necklace you could do a choker

Waist tie is part of the dress, but it may be removable, I haven't tried.

Do you have any better recommendation for shoes?

Should I go with stripe line one like in the pic or plain white stockings?

White lace-topped ankle socks and a pearl necklace. You don't want to drown yourself in brown/pink.

Why white though? White typically doesn't work well in classic; beige/cream would look much better.

Plain, there's enough lines on the dress and your blouse.

I ordered this blouse, and need a skirt or jumperskirt to go with it. Preferably navy?
Really looking for something that I can buy right now so I don't have to keep looking.

Bought this dress kind of randomly and I don't know what to coord it with?! I found some really cute pink and mint socks on lacemarket but struggling with ideas for a blouse! I feel my sheer AP blouse doesn't really suit its oldschool style...

I wonder if something like this would still look good even with the shoulder straps of the dress.... If not you can wear a pink bolero on top and go blouseless!
