There's anime things every year. I'm not sure how you missed any of it.

Anyway at the new location there are different venues. Each venue has programming. Unless you're lazy, make sure to visit all the venues. If you like panels they start on Thursday and run until Sunday. The con runs 24 hours so unless you're afraid of being around people, there's always something to do.

Here is a quick guide

Convention Center - Main events, Industry, and guest panels. Some other weird shit sprinkled in between. They also have the big esports thing this year. It closes up around 1AM every night.

Omni - Primarily gaming events. Board games, card games, LARP, console etc. Pretty sure it runs 24 hours.

Sheraton - Most panels are hosted here. Sometimes there are also guest panels. This hotel has stuff going on nearly all day and night.

Water Gardens - Photoshoots and meetups. But really all kinds of weird shit goes on here. It is not a pool. Don't try to swim in it.

They didn't have streaming rooms except for one or two that were only used for premieres the last time I went, so if there was a gap in the panel schedule you make for yourself then there's not a whole lot to do unless you're cosplaying. IIRC a lot of the panels were also centered around other things that aren't anime (vidya, fanfic writing, steampunk as usual), but I think I just needed to be less autistic about it and I would have probably had a better time... maybe I am just afraid of being around people

While the video rooms used to be a staple at most cons in the past, I believe they are slowly being phased out or downsized since most fans tend to stream things right when they come out.

The few cons who have video rooms ate, in my experience, fairly empty these days. Why waste a panel space on something that only a 20 people care about vs. the thousands of other attendees who don't?
