The food is... well, you could probably make better at home if I'm honest. It's not some gourmet experience. Not sure if there are tea party tickets left, though you can always just go to eventbrite and check. There are always some girls who sell their ticket at the last minute in the community too, so you can keep an eye on the comm if it's sold out already.

I think there's a difference between engaging in conversation with someone and being friends with someone, and sharing the same space as someone. If a person wants to be friends actively with Neko, yeah you might be right. But someone simply existing in the same discord as Neko, tolerating his existence or ignoring it, doesn't equal the same as someone who actively stays friends with him. I continue to regret I did not record the closing ceremony of the con last year. The head of AN (some fat woman) made some unnecessary political comments as her opening statements of the closing ceremony ridiculing the new political leader of the Conservatives Party. Call the hotel to talk to someone directly and make sure it's legitimate, is what I'd recommend.

The people who I really feel bad for in this are the young people and people with severe autism (or other disabilities) who don't understand that people like her are abusive and that this is NOT how convention staff are supposed to act or how conventions are supposed to be run. I doubt it. I think it's fine as long as you're not in your underpants. Even so, as long as you're wearing speedos under I don't think anyone would care. Read the con rules and see what they restrict and not restrict. Let's say you're not allowed to bring in 1:1 scaled prop guns into the con. I've seen those who bring it anyways (plastic airsoft replicas, the ones from Aliexpress). I asked Staff why they are allowed to bring them to the con. They told me as long as they're not in the venue, the actual building, it's fine it appears.

For Van and Mark in the locker room scene, I think it's fine as long as it's clothed like pic related. If you're really going to strip down to your underpants, make sure you're ready for videos or pics of you to be circulated online lol. So think of the consequences as well. Best case scenario keep it clothed or do what Comiket cosplayers do and wear paper masks of the two characters backed with cardboard as reinforcement.
