I'm not defending this hideous fucking outfit, but I fail to see how it could be considered 'nymphet' fashion? She's wearing a frumpy Chinese mumu with bargain bin socks and an old pair of track shoes. Her makeup and the stuffed animal may be a part of 'nymphet' style, but you can find both of those things throughout lolita. I suppose If you're just taking into account the knee (strangling) socks and high school running shoes, you could get an 'other lolita' vibe from this but I think it's a huge reach to say it looks like 'ddlg'.

Dollbe is doing a contest on instagram. I Don't know much about the quality of her pieces, but I spoke with her in person once and she seems really committed to the idea of making sure the fit of all her made-to-order pieces is accurate to the customer.
Figured I'd mention this in case anyone here would like the chance to try her stuff out for free (if you're the winner of the contest). I know I have some fit issues, so the idea of something that's both free and custom fit sounds tempting, even if the quality isn't the best.

I think >>9856613 is onto something. The problem I think is plus-size waists can come in a lot of different shapes, like literally different shapes. Two girls could both be overweight in the same amount, but one might be carrying it all on her stomach and the other has it all in her hips and chest area. I knew a 300lb woman who had a 36" waist, so any jacket that could fit her arms and boobs was too big for her waist.

Anyone else notice the new IW White items on reservation? I feel like I'm late to the party. Looks like the skirt a few girls were wearing on CoF is up, a JSK, and a blouse.

The skirt looks like such a cheap version of the Flare Skirt with Braids, but I guess it's cute enough for casual wear, but I'm rather unimpressed for the price. The JSK looks pretty decent, lining at the hem is a bit simple and cheap, though it looks like they're trying to pull off a Vilma OP look with the model. Blouse looks really nice and simple in a good way, RIP that I didn't notice it sooner as it's almost all sold out. They did restocks for some IW White items that sold out in preorder last time, maybe again for this blouse...

(Saying all this as someone who has bought a wide variety of IW for years, and I bought the initial bustier + skirt from White and liked them.)

I am so mixed on this. On one hand, I like the pricing and simple design, but on the other hand, would it kill them to put one line of lace at the ends of the jabot for the blouse? Lolita for me is all about the small details. One of my favorite dresses is a simple cutsew dress with beautiful lace at the turtleneck. It's small things like these that make my day. IW white is almost there, but the cheap trimmings and lack of beautiful detail is really killing me.
