I mostly post on /mu/ where people know me for my music taste but just didn’t take it off. I like this board though, it’s comfy when it’s not so political

The dude that made cakes and didn’t allow gays in his restaurant. Dozens of people in that thread defended him.

>reading comprehension

I never said he should be refusing them. I think personally businesses should separate beliefs from business and just allow everyone. I’m just loving the cognitive dissonance from the people ITT calling him out for doing it when this board has openly supported similar actions that reflect more conservative values in the past

Snowflake alt-righters blocking anyone that doesn’t match their obsolete beliefs. Keep the blinders on buddy, it’s a scary world out there where people think differently from you

>doesn’t want to serve gays
“Private Businesses reserve the right to refuse service. It’s the American way”
>doesn’t want to serve hateful racists
“SJW faggot cuck! That’s not fair!”

The /pol/ invasion is truly complete. Never change, alt-righters

Tito’s isn’t even good. People love it where I live and I can’t figure it out. I’d put a full tier between the quality of Tito’s and Ketel

I mean it’s 18 degrees and the closest liquor store’s a 5 minute drive so I’m not concerned. Really more of a do I want to get drunk tonight kinda thing

Debating if I should brave the cold(18 degrees F) and go buy a cheap handle of whiskey. What do you guys think? Help me out.

Hell yeah man, have fun. Maybe I’ll by some crazy coincidence see you out there and have no idea I actually saw you if you’re planning for next weekend.

Hattie’s per usual is a great pick, and better for large groups because they usually work pretty fast. I would stay away from like Prince’s with a group, especially closer to nighttime. Outside of it being so sketchy, it’ll take em forever to serve 10+ people anyway. Honestly, if you’re already hitting up broadway with the group for the country bars, just go to Nashville Underground. They do a mean hot chicken truffle mac n cheese, and they’re right on broadway so you won’t have to work out uber or whatever from where you decide to eat to the bars.

Also The Hattie’s there is great but it doesn’t compare to the Nashville ones. >>11808222
Makes sense, it’s indulgent and fairly easy to produce. Only the masters can truly do it best though

Your instincts are right, the kfc version is shit lol it’s as dry as the Atacama. Just look up a southern recipe and make your own man!

Pretty far desu I think it’s like 5-6 hours but worth it! There’s a lot of cool stuff to do here

It’s not a huge festival or anything, just $5 hot chicken meals at various restaurants that would usually be like $9. I’d recommend it in general just because this city is fun as fuck and there’s plenty to do, but don’t expect some huge festival based around it. All the places doing the deals are doing them within their own business around the city

I prefer Hatties to Prince’s as well but it’s definitely subjective. Planning to try bolton’s sometime this week, never been before.

What has been your favorite for this week’s competition/what have you tried?

Adding on to what my correct friends said, it’s better than wheat for absorbing the spices and juices.
>>11804436
Maybe if you’re already unhealthy
>>11804510
Then don’t eat it retard, the chicken’s just fine without it. Fries do great at absorbing some of the spices as well

If you’re just tossing it in a wing sauce at the end you are completely fucking doing it wrong and that’s not even hot chicken to my ears

Yeah I looked it up, Bloomington right? Looks pretty good

Prince’s hot chicken is still here, yes, with two locations.

Hilarious story on how the dude invented it: he cheated on his wife, and she got so pissed off that she threw a bunch of peppers and shit into the batch he was making to make it way too spicy. He tried it and loved it hahaha

I was born in Memphis and this is blasphemy. Why can’t Memphis-style BBQ and Nashville hot chicken coexist?

I dream of a world where we can do an appetizer of memphis pulled pork fries before a delicious nashville hot chicken entree. True harmony. Actually that sounds like not a great idea but I’m drunk so I’m into it

>> No.11803174 [View]

so after returning from Germantown pub, it was pretty damn good. Hot chicken nachos with queso, pico, fresh jalapeños and black beans. 7.5/10 I think Pepperfire retains a slight advantage but both are very good dishes
