I grew up in a central asian household, and when i moved to central asia for three years, there was literally no difference in the food i ate there and the food i ate in america. How in the fuck can you make the claim that there is literally no authentic mexican cuisine outside of border towns in mexico when i know for a fact that food i've eaten in mexico is nearly identical to food i've had here in new york city.

Again, you're claiming the physical act of putting a foot on the soil of another country causes you to forget how to make food you've been making your entire life and lose every modicum of talent in making food in the style you've been raised to do so.
