Stuff like that is a fair bit cheaper at Sam's Club, so I'd assume it's similar with CostCo. Things like rice can be cheaper, but you kinda need to watch it, sometimes the only real difference between what CostCo/Sam's Club has and the local grocery stores is the size. As someone mentioned, it can be worth getting a big thing of meat when it's on sale and dividing it up for the freezer. And if the other people in your household have jobs, get them to come in on the membership with you, even if only one other person does, that's still cheaper.

Gotta admit, I don't usually go for pepperoni on pizza myself. Not because it's "pleb," but because most places use pepperoni that's like 50% grease. When I worked at the local Picadilly's Pizza, they're pepperoni was like that and working around it made me lose my taste for it on pizza.

It scares me how right my mom is sometimes...then she turns around and burns hotdogs so whatever. Anyway, I actually had to improve my eating habits significantly last November? Can't remember. Anyway, I went to the doctor for a fucked up toenail. Ta-da, it's infected again and he prescribes amoxicillin. My mom pointed out that it'll probably bother me and told me to try eating some yogurt and a bit more fruit and veges. And it worked. (Didn't quite fix my toenail though)

Used to be a lot of things would give the shits. I managed to curb that quite a bit by increasing my fruit/vegetable intake, and by eating whipped yogurt. These days there's a few things that do it.

Gyro kits from Aldi.
Fried food night (like once a month we make fried chicken and egg rolls and fries).

Yeah I think they do make it cheese too. The full name is Tillamook County Smoker or something along those lines...fuck now I want some. And toast.

Tillamook makes more than just those. One of the ones nearby has a bunch of their stuff and it's pretty damn good.

Picked up a 6-pack earlier after hearing it's good from most everyone I discussed cider with. More beer tasting than most ciders I've tried. Would buy it again.

Hmm maybe he wasn't telling the whole story then. Also, how the hell do you guys get the hashbrowns so good?

So...one of my friends who worked for Waffle House got a $0.07 raise for his two years there. Any idea if that's not uncommon?

Well I've got Publix and a Whole Foods around, so I'll have to check there when I get back that way. I also got the ACE from Whole Foods, so maybe they'll have a six pack of that pear cider.

>> No.4318078 [View]

>>4318072
I haven't seen the pear around here, but I forgot to mention I had ACE regular cider and pear cider. The pear was amazing. I'll look for the Hornsby's and Fox Barrel though.

Corelle my friend. Give cider a shot, I like it far more than the two beer's I've tried. It's also pretzel sticks and Chinese sausage.

So I recently took a liking to hard cider. My favorites so far have been Woodchuck Amber and this Angry Orchard. I've also tried Woodchuck Granny Smith, 802, and Crisp. Out of the others, I liked 802 the best, and Granny Smith the least.

Anyone have some they like, or post some suggestions?

Pretty good fan of burgers and the other two like burgers and chicken and such, and I'll probably drag them to HD1 as I'm the driver. Can't go to the Vortex though, younger brother is only 16.

Nah I'm from SC and I intended to get the frozen orange. Is it like a milkshake or something?

>>4293324
Well, I say that, but I don't think one meal around $20-$25 would kill me, I'm just not after more expensive options.
