I was about to say salt water and simple syrup, but even those are very complex tastes. Is there really a better way to enjoy the complexity of salt than in water? Simple syrup is also very complex, you have the water but on top of that you have the sugars.

I don't think there are any. I could also say eggs, but that's a very complex texture. Avocado can be very complex both ways. Someone mentioned cauliflower, but that also becomes complex when you account maturity and soil. Garden cucumber can be simple in taste, I also think fennel can be a fairly simple taste and texture. I guess apples can also fall in the simple category. Starfruit, but the texture is actually rather interesting.

I dunno.

If he would've put tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce, would it be different?

Ketchup (or catsup for him) is just tomato paste, water, sugar and vinegar.

I think it's because you guys count on me to always know everything on this board, but you don't understand that I need you guys, too, sometimes.

I don't like that stuff. It's generally watery and the tapioca pearls are just jellied starch.

Wrong plate. That lobster doesn't belong on it.

Knife. Caramel is too thick, cake is off the plate. Strawberry's last piece rotated 7 ºCCW. Looks like it spent the day under the projectors waiting to be photographed, cooled, taken out again, cooled, taken out again, touched-up, and allowed to melt once more.

Also don't spit in people's plates. What kind of satisfaction does that bring you? Was it so hard to step out of the kitchen, act like a gentleman, and ask the patron to clarify her order?

That's interesting, but I'm not sure it would work. The yolk would separate, and the white wouldn't adhere to the omelette.

I think it would be possible to make something like that with rings, though. Could be interesting in a square omelette pan or something.

How do you girls handle making food when you don't have a boyfriend?

I feel terrible. I don't think I cooked anything in months. I probably haven't baked bread since last season. I've been eating meat, dairy, eggs, fish and seafood.

I just don't feel like cooking anymore and part of me thinks people are just messing with my boyfriend so I'll spend money in clubs, eat out, not cook, etc. I sometimes think it's a hostage situation.

But I just don't feel like it. It's like there's no reason to anymore.

Poaching chicken breasts if my preferred method of cooking them.

If you want the best of both worlds, maybe you can make a basil-infused oil to pour over, or even some sort of pesto.

You could also steam basil-brined chicken.

Not really. Most palates just can't handle the acidity and bitterness of the chocolate. Milk proteins, also added to cocoa proteins, create a basic amino acid profile that is comparable to that of human milk.

>>4787154

That struck me, as well. I think it's a nice stunt. No actual losses were encountered, since they can just melt the goddamned thing to make more chocolate. Maybe even to create a 10 year special edition candy bar!
