I eat oats every day. I don't really like them as a gloppy porridge, I like them chewy. So I make them like this;

>bring 1 cup of milk, 1/2 tsp. of salt and a pinch of cinnamon to a boil
>stir in 1 1/2 cups of rolled oats, cover the pan and remove from the heat
>let sit for 5 minutes

They might technically be undercooked and under hydrated but they are the best oats I've ever had. Chewy and delicious.

I usually just eat them with frozen berries that I warm up with some sugar.
