I just got this bad bitch for $75. I had to clean it up and boil the spigot and stuff, but it runs like a champ. It has a bent switch and a broken handle but I can get those factory parts off eBay for maybe $40... or use 3.5 inch drawer pulls for handles that cost a couple of dollars. The gaskets are all available online but I saved a lot of money fabricating them myself with materials from Hobby Lobby and Lowe's. Next on the list is fabbing up an oak tamper for it with my drill press and some oak dowels from Lowe's for under $10. which will give me enough material to make 3 tampers, and the other two I will probably sell online where the standard price is $20. I'll probably put them up for $15.

I just picked this up for $75 plus shipping. I need a new gasket for the action lid or whatever which is like $7. I took the pitcher apart after soaking it in vinegar and running it a few times and then added some baking soda and ran it a few more times in forward and reverse. Cleaned everything up. It's a fucking beast. I could use a replacement handle for the broken one but I may just order a pair of steel aftermarket replacements.

Fuck new plastic shit.

If you have to settle get a top tier Oster. Mine has lasted 20 years and works great, and you can use normal standard width Mason jars on the base. The blade section will screw right on.
