I can do it. I thought I'd went full al/ck before I started my first real job in 10 years because I had been drinking every day for years. But I'm able to go Monday-Friday without drinking. I get drunk Friday+Saturday night (and drink whats left on Sunday, like 3 beers) but during the workweek I'm sober. I had hoped i was still a "recreational alcoholic" and I was right...I am.

My brain is less foggy, I don't wake up with pain in my abdomen and my bloated stomach is shrinking. My face is flushed as fuck though (I hate seeing myself in the bathroom mirrors at work), hoping that goes away. My manager and team think I'm doing okay. No panic attacks so far. I might actually make it.
