I love that too. A friend of mine won't eat oranges and leaves the room if I peel one open because he is so revolted by the aroma (he would call it an odor). I just don't see how that could turn anyone off so. But as they say, that's what makes horseracing.

I'm partial to canned pears and Miracle Whip myself.

No uncooked pizza looks good. No idea what the green paste is, but otherwise it looks acceptable. The idea of food gore is horrific combinations or horribly poor ingredients.

I like Subway. If I'm going to get something fast and cheap from a drive-through window, it's going to be from Subway, because it's substantial, and I can make it healthy.
Would I get pissed if their "club sandwich" didn't come out looking like it does at the country club? Fuck no.
Because I don't expect Subway to upend their entire process to please sticklers like yourself.
Order a sandwich that Subway can come somewhat close to reproducing, like a cheese steak or something.
Personally, I order Subs the way I did ten years ago before they thought they had to compete with Quizno's and started installing toasters.
I like a BMT with lots of veggies and peppers.
If I want a toasted double decker turkey, bacon, cheese on sourdough cut into quarters, surrounding a pile of fries, I'll get that after golfing at the country club.
