also off to the left is typical baked junk food, and behind the counter doesn't look like anything better than something you can get an american bakery or even the bakery section of a supermarket. This literally looks like my local bakery only shittier and they literally have bread on the counter where people are paying for their shit and probably coughing all over it.

If it's a French restaurant, then you'll really embarrass yourself asking for cheddar or mozzarella. The trays don't have cheddar or mozzarella. Cheddar is not used at all in France. They have bleu cheeses, comté, tomme, brie, chaource, and more french cheeses.

It's better just to ask the server to have some suggestions if you are not sure.
