I'm purely a hard liquor alcoholic, and I'm mostly just visceral fat. The chronic bowel irritation as well as the byproducts of alcohol and its -aldehyde breaking down makes absorbing a lot of the nutrients required to metabolize properly difficult. The sedentary blackout lifestyle also tends to eat away at muscle mass first when you're drinking so much you don't eat properly.
In any case, it's really not a matter of being "skinny or fat". The fact that people use that as a sole indicator of health is why a lot of us alcoholics can slide by until we hit the point of massive self-harm.

I like movies so worst comes to worst I just put on some stream and chat with people if I feel social. I like old games and have a ton of ps3 games and emulators I can pop in when the moods right. and if that dont work I just make random play lists and jam to music I haven't heard in years. Rarely do I get that angry I hate the world or sad please kill me drunk tho it has occurred. the thing about this thou is that I know im fucking every one of those hobbies up because when I'm sobre I barely do any of them I just go on here and fuck around until i get more booze or pot and repeat the cycle.

Used to go around McDonalds and other fast food places late nights to grab leftover stuff drunk people had bought.

The New Year's Eve before this one I spent eating hotdogs (knakworsten) wrapped in pancakes. It's nice enough any other time, but as dinner alone with fireworks going off outside it was pretty depressing.

This New Year's Eve was a lot better though. Friends and food aplenty.
