Yes they do. After the beef is grilled over an open flame and the sandwich is assembled they put it in the microwave oven for a short time to melt the cheese and soften the bun. I appreciate that BK takes those extra steps to ensure they deliver a quality product to me, the consumer.

Sorry but Long John Silvers isn't going under any time soon. There are also shitloads of casual dining restaurants that serve fish and chips and it isn't even remotely considered European. Hooters and Joe's Crab Shack, just to name a couple
