In England, after Jamie Oliver made the school meals healthy, pizza was literally a bun, cut in half, spread with ketchup (or some very plain tomato sauce) with cheese sprinkled on top before being toasted

Moved to America, bought a slice of pizza at school for $1 (I had an A in business class so they had me work in the student store for extra credit) and it literally tasted like the fucking cardboard box, I was amazed how Americans could fuck up something as simple as bread, tomato, and cheese but once I learned how corrupt and capitalistic the school system is in America it made perfect sense
