tomorrow some family are coming over for dinner and i was going to serve them french onion soup as a starter, with peas slow cooked and eggs poached in a tomato sauce on toast for a main.

now, should i do oven finished french toast with a peach compote and cream, or some sort of peach/pear upside down tart?

i have bread in the oven atm for all this, so it's not going to be $1 loaf from walmart french toast
