I'm thinking about making a decedent soup. Give me your thoughts.
>Fry chopped bacon in stock pot and set aside
>Saute onions and garlic with some butter to lift the fond
>Add mushrooms and chopped parsley
>Pour over cream and simmer to reduce and thicken
>Add roasted pumpkin and some nutmeg
>Pour over chicken stock and bring to a simmer
>Remove from the heat and blitz smooth with a stick blender
>Stir through bacon
Would good?
