It'll be brutal. There's the HAMS taper method that basically takes how many drinks you have in a day and you'll have to switch to beer or hard seltzer, or something along those lines. No hard alcohol. And then you break off from there. That said, if you don't have the support, you may not have the strength of will to quit on your own. You can get prescribed gabapentin and valium for the initial stages. Find something to nerd out on for a while. Good luck.
