alright guys just a quick update but basically I fucked it up against all odds. it's too watery even though the lentils seem fully cooked, so now I'm going to add my rice to try and soak up the excess moisture. there's obviously no instructions for this kind of retarded attempt at damage control so I expect everything to end even more fucked up.

The little booklet that came with my pressure cooker told me to do 4.5 cups of water with 1.5 cups of lentils, so I did 6 cups of water with 2 cups of lentils.
