The other night when I made Paella, My Chorizo had gotten abit slimy in the pack despite the 10/02/2018 sell by, It smelt off but I really wanted to eat it and I didnt think it smelled that bad, it was just slightly off smelling so I just washed it under the cold tap for a few minutes and then it smelt fine so I cooked it anyway, still when it was cooked it tasted like something was there but it was minute and barely noticable only when biting into the Chorizo by itself. I had horrible nightmares that night which I dont normally get and I think it was because of the bad Chorizo. Yesterday when I smelled the leftovers there was a definite smell, Separating the Chorizo it was easy to tell It was that, It smelt really bad almost kinda rancid but not quite as bad as that, So I had to comb through the whole pot picking out all the Chorizo anyway, Couldve saved myself the trouble and just thrown the Chorizo when It smelt bad like I shouldve.
