Kroppkakor. Potato dumplings with a spiced pork filling. I prefer them browned but steam/poached ones are good as well. Enjoyed with browned butter or cream with lingonberries.

Kroppkakor from Blekinge, Sweden.

Basically potato dumplings stuffed with spiced pork. These ones are boiled but I prefer fried, so that they get a slight crust and a nice golden colour. Always serve with lingonberry jam and butter.
