Well then do it if it makes you happy. I said id quit when it wasnt fun any longer and it wasnt fun any longer. Im 31, i want my evenings and weekends. I want a woman. I want benefits and paid time off. I dont want to work as a sous chef again doing 4x the work for barely 2x the pay, or a chef owner doing 100x the work probably losing money..

Back to school on monday for me. Good luck, bro. I wouldnt trade my time cooking for anything but nothing lasts forever.. The problem with the good times is that you never really realize when youre in em til they pass, so keep that in mind.

Is there a way out of the restauraunt life? I don't know where I'd go without this industry and I'm so tired of the kitchen life.
