Hey friends, I just moved out to Cali and I've been enjoying all the agriculture out here. I didn't realize how much this state produced until I got here. Norcal, by the way.

I know Avocados of California are a must, but there are a few other things I'm curious about- most notably what other foods are cheap and locally produced? What's the best Californian fast food chains? What areas have the best restaurants?

Can we get a comprehensive list going?

What do you cook? I want something delicious that can keep a group of people entertained for a while. Something foreign that people don't know they love.
