Old Aussie boomer cuisine is quite bland and safe, generally steak and vegetables and English throwback shit like shepherd's pie. Beef pies, sausages, roasts of beef, chicken and lamb.
Most major seaboard cities have had an influx of refugees from every war torn shit-hole from the last 50+ years resulting in a real diversity of restaurants and shops where you can eat just about any fucking thing you please.
