the really cheap shit that refers to itself as a "cheese product" doesn't have enough actual cheese in it to call it cheese. If you look on the back of the package where the ingredients are the first ingredient is going to be some kind of processed oil with maybe some cheese sprinkled in there somewhere. Something like a kraft single actually has cheddar cheese as the second ingredient, so it's closer to actual cheese . on the other hand kraft singles are stupidly expensive compared to a slab of cheddar cheese , but it will melt better.
