Fear of parasites. They also won't eat sushi unless it's California rolls. I have a friend that is pretty much afraid of everything. We went to a pretty nice restaurant and their special that night was prime rib. She ordered hers well done with A-1 sauce. Saved half for the next day which she cooked even further and had with eggs.

My mom always complains about sour smelling sponges and dish towels yet she's the one that always leave them sopping wet in the sink. If I'm out of town and ask her to feed my cats, I'll always find a wet smelly sponge in the sink.
