Not soluble for humans. There are many different types of protein, and different effects. For example, Soy protein has much less of an effect on muscular growth and overall effect than the protein from meat. Its missing many vital amino acids and other characteristics. Its not something I care about de-railing a thread on, but if you'd like to look it up, go ahead.
What they call "Protein" in a bug is not in fact what you should expect. Consider it like a base "Chemical" (Obviously not the correct term but I'm not getting deeper into four years of biology majoring) that doesn't replicate the actual process that protein does from other sources (The best being from meat, but whey is acceptable, pea exists, soy is low quality).
