ITT we post food that we want to eat right now but can't because it isn't available where you live. I'll start.

i found that if i take a thin crust "ny style" slice of cold pizza and toast it 8minutes with a sheet of foil over the top, the crust gets crispy and the cheese heats up perfectly without burning

the only problem is a bunch of cheese melts to the bottom of the toaster, burns and my roommate doesnt like it, solutions?

Burgers are a good option for this but how specific do we have to be?
Sandwich could include just about everything
Soup could include a ton of stuff like cereal with milk being a soup

OP asked what meal so as a whole meal
I would go with pizza the endless varity of toppings, sauces, cheeses and even types of pizza makes it so it would never get old

It's deep dish pizza with a somewhat thick crust. The bottom and edges are crunchy while the inside crust is soft and fluffy. It has a good amount of sauce and cheese on top, but not so much that you feel like you're eating a casserole.

I can't speak for the other states, but Michigan has great food....primarily greek, mexican, and middle eastern. Probably the best state to get it in the country not counting Mexican...

Honestly NY style pizza can be found anywhere in the country, the idea that it's unique is placebo, it's just an atmosphere thing like a philly cheese steak...you can get it anywhere really but we see it as a thing we WANT to have in a certain environment

I'm pretty sure that shit originated in St.Louis, or at least they're most known for it.

On another note fuck Chicago style deep dish, Detroit style deep dish is superior
