I worked at Hardee's in the pre-thickburger days. It was a strange experience.

thought i'd get to go home early, but ended up having to clean the entire kitchen... which is a fuckton more work than assembling a burger every 5 minutes.

I remember working at Hardee's in the 90s. Our oil filtering system was broken for like a week. The fries turned brown as soon as they were dipped in the oil. Tasted weird too.

Good parts:
Using my autism to time out food preparation in a highly efficient manner. Customers got their food fast as shit when I was on duty. The repetitive tasks were comfy and I got good at wrapping things.

Bad parts:
Dealing with coworkers. Most coworkers are fuckups with lots of drama. I once saw two coworkers get into a heated argument over who had had a gun pulled on them the most.

Warehouse work is the best temporary job.

worked in fast food/restaurants for a year. no... i never saw anyone spit in food. the worst i saw was a drive thru worker mixing half a customer's soda with water cause he was being an asshole while ordering.
