Maybe not as much as in years past, and it is reconstituted dry milk if you wanna get picky--but that is standard industry procedure.
The supply of powdered milk is more steady than fresh milk, because powdered milk stores longer than fresh milk and cheaper than condensed milk.

Yoo Hoo used to be a (USA-local) trivia question, because-
1) for years it was the only milk-based beverage in the USA that did not need refrigeration.... (which it still may be?)
2) and the reason for that was, it was pasteurized in the container,,,,,
3) which was why it was only available in a glass jar for many years. There was no plastic containers that would withstand the pasteurization temperatures.

I like the Nestle Quik stuff, and Ovaltine is okay.
Either is even nicer if you buy plain vanilla malt and dump a couple teaspoons into each glass,,,, but that shit is expensive (plain malt).
