>get a call from her a few hours later, she's at my uncle's house, talking about dinner
>she tells me that my uncle is raving about this new restaurant that opened up in our town
>their signature dish is a chicken fried steak
>okay cool, my boss told me about them, they're alright
>uncle calls them to make a reservation while I'm on the phone with my mother
>get there, have to wait another 45 minutes to get a table
>takes another 30 minutes to get our food (it was all chicken fried steaks
>gravy tastes like alfredo sauce with an assload of black pepper

I don't know where I'm going with this, but basically Goodson's Cafe in Tomball, TX, is the best chicken fried steak you can get, regardless of price.

In the menu at this place, the first thing on there was the chicken fried steak, and it had in parenthesis "VOTED TOP 5 IN THE HOUSTON AREA." When my uncle pointed it out, I said, "yeah, Goodson's is probably No.1"
