Yes, but good coffee is good coffee. It's not necessarily a difference in the coffee being objectively 'better.' But there will be noticeable differences in the taste and notes you'll pick up due to the different extraction process. If you're using whole beans, getting your coffee to water ratio correct, and making sure you're using a medium grind -- even a cheap drip machine can produce a very good cup of joe that's worth the beans. I'm not really familiar with the particular brands, but I know there are higher quality drip machines out there worth dropping the money on if that's your thing.

I have family coming over and I want to make something special, thing is I'm used to cook utilitarian meals since I'm broke most of the time.
