grinder bingo & coffee drink bingo are abandoned ideas that would have potentially been future threads
but the point of this exercise was to encourage the posting of OC images and i was willing to bend the rules to include everyone's submissions if argument could be made that an image kinda fit the description on the bingo card; itself fostering discussion and compromise
eg. i never expected to see a cold drip tower, but i was glad to get to use anon's coldbrew method as a substitute
but there really wasn't a great turnout of OC images, and there never is...so i proved my point to myself
I would like to say that everyone who played along in the previous thread: YOU DA REAL MVPS

i agree that to get to 25 different brew methods is a difficult problem if you abide by the strictest classifications
and when you start breaking those down into brands or niche esoterica it becomes difficult to get the number below 50 or even 100, let alone 25
it becomes the matter of:
>what are objects that anons might actually have laying around and use?
>how many different styles of pouring water over coffeegrounds have a distinct name, despite being the same thing?
>what's some obscure shit that some people have never heard of but might be interesting to see or at least talk about?

and then you can get into technicalities that cause lively discussion:
>a moka pot IS a percolator
>mr. coffee is just automated pourover
>a cuisinart "espresso" machine makes real espresso
>aeropress/flair arent "machines" because they don't have cords
>my rotary pump is better than your vibratory pump
>the best espresso I ever had came out of a moka pot on my own stove
>a $500 shower dripper is doing the same thing as a $30 machine from walmart
>a dzezva isn't a cezve
>and so on, and so on, and soforth
